Small room with limited space for luggage. However convenient location in the city. Convenience include A. Airport pickup for Bus 5 minutes walk. B. Information Centre in 2 minutes walk. C. Nearest railway 3 minutes walk

I liked the place because it was economy and east place to stay and added touch close to transportation. Close to Euljiro- 1 and 2 Train Station, ease of taxi and Bus. Shopping Mal and souvenirs close as well of great street food. Office is on 4th floor and quarters was on third floor. No food in room for they have kitchen area to eat and small fridge/coffee pot available.

Terrible place. I have never seen staff so bad. I saw the guy at the front desk scream and yell and insult at a customer because she wanted help to open a door. Just awful. Do your self a favor and stay somewhere else.

There were used toothbrush and contact lens cases left in my bed area when checking in. Do not like that the toilet is outside the staying area.

Too tiny of a room and too many restrictions.

Staff didn't seem so friendly and accommodating. Wish they were to make my stay enjoyable and comfortable. I would come in and out of the hotel and the person at the front desk always looked stressed and did not give at least a smile or a nod. If you just need a place to sleep, this place is good as it is conveniently located INSIDE the myeongdong shopping street, with lots of dining options outside of the hotel.

This place was not as expected at all. Check in is exactly at 3pm, no one will even be at the counter a minute prior. While I was checking in there was so much construction going on and wires hanging from the ceiling. The hotel is near a cosmetic surgery facility, so the rooms are being used as recover stays for patients. No actual visitors are staying there. They don’t provide actual towels. They only give you a small face towel. The restrooms are located are public, so any business on that floor has access to it! I was so uncomfortable, I ended up leaving a couple hours after check in. I wish I could get a refund!

Perfect location in the area of myeongdong

The location is perfect as it’s near enough central to the main shopping area. The staff were friendly and while there was a language barrier they showed no frustration. As the hotel is in a building with other businesses a couple of restaurants to be exact I was able to meet people. Felt completely safe I smoke and would go outside at 1pm-3pm as I sometimes suffer from insomnia and never once felt at risk- I am aware not everyone may have this experience but for me the location the facilities and the people were perfect.

The customer service is very unfriendly. There is nothing much in this hotel. Its just for sleeping and bathing. i have 3 hotels on this Seoul Trip and i think this is the worst. the towels are very yellowish not white anymore. The toilet is very small its like you shower area and toilet area are together. They dont clean the room during 5days stay. While my other accomodation they clean everyday.

Everything was excellent. The only bad thing was that I couldn't bring friends or family to my room when I paid so much money to stay for 9 nights and 10 days. They have to improve on that, but afterward everything was wonderful.

Its a decent hotel in the middle of myeong dong area.

CONS: The front desk guy is very rude. Always cuts me off when I am speaking. Knocks and comes into the room to turn off AC even if I was still in the bedroom. I talked to him about it but he kept doing that. I even asked if the use of AC is timed, he said no. But he still went in to turn it off, multiple times. NO SHARED WR(Toilet) FOR DORMITORY. This hostel is on the 4th floor of a commericial building. There are other offices in the bldg so you will be using public toilet because they only have wash area inside the dormitory. PROS: Great location. It is in the heart of Myeongdong. Clean dormitory.

The staff was very helpful and polite. Definitely recommend to stay here for a place that you just want to crash after a day of adventure. Very simple and had the necessities

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, SAVE YOUR MONEY STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE THAT TREAT U BETTER. I recently had the unfortunate opportunity to stay at CALISTAR Hotel during my visit to Korea, and I must say it was a complete disappointment. From the moment I entered the premises, I encountered numerous issues that left me unsatisfied and frustrated. Firstly, the service at this hotel was abysmal. The staff seemed disinterested and unhelpful, lacking any semblance of professionalism. Even simple requests took an eternity to be fulfilled. It felt like they couldn't be bothered to cater to guests' needs. Furthermore, the rooms were far from what was advertised. The walls were thin, allowing every sound from the hallway and neighboring rooms to infiltrate my peace. This made it impossible to get a good night's sleep, with constant disturbances throughout my stay. The decor was outdated and worn-out, lacking any warmth or charm. The overall cleanliness of the room left much to be desired, with noticeable dust and stains on the furniture. The worst aspect of my stay was the faulty bathroom facilities. The showerhead barely produced any water pressure, making it a frustrating endeavor to cleanse oneself effectively. Moreover, the drainage system was faulty, resulting in a slow and unpleasant flooding of the bathroom floor. This led to a constant dampness and an uncomfortable environment. However, another worst experience is that next room complained about us being loud and we were not loud at

First of all, the location could not be better! It is a short walk from lines 2 and 4 and close enough to the main Myeongdong hub without being too affected by the noise. Unfortunately, that was really the only positive I had about staying here. I had to wait in the reception while the worker behind the desk showed guests around which wasn’t very necessary. The rooms are extremely tight which was never much of an issue but, because there are no windows, it was far too warm. We were not allowed to put the air con any lower than 25 degrees which didn’t make much difference and people would switch it off through the night. The bedroom light also stays on throughout the night and the curtain does not do a great job at blocking the light so I did not get a full nights sleep for the entirety of my 4 night stay.
