Friendly host. Very well located for public transport and airport bus (directly out front). The room was clean and instructions to enter the room and building after hours were clear.

1. From Incheon Airport, take the airport bus 6001 to Dongdaemun History and Culture Park Station. Get off at this station and look up to see the sign for this hostel.Very convenient. 2. Close to subway station - Dongdaemun History and Culture Park Station, Exit 10 should be the nearest. 3. Good on all counts, bad on two: a. There is no elevator and the stairs are very steep. b. The floor tiles of some staircases are cracked, which is dangerous and I hope the owner will remedy the situation as soon as possible.

It’s my 2nd stay in this cosy guesthouse which has become my ‘go to’ for my annual Christmas & New Year trip to Seoul. It’s conveniently located near the train station & Dongdaemun Design Plaza which is my favourite museum to visit every year. Room is clean & the facilities in the house is simple & well managed. Take note that there is only stairs to access the different levels.

Small face towels, not bath towels, were provided. Hot water tub is limited or even cold! None of days during my stay could really get hot water shower at all!

Checking in was a breeze. I was given a personalised paper with my name, that has all the necessary info. It’s great to stay just beside my favourite iconic & beautiful building, Dongdaemun Design Plaza and the attached subway station makes it extra convenient to walk within minutes to! Lots of convenient shops all around this area! The room is cosy, clean & comes with all I need! Love the heater in the room, especially when it’s the winter season! The shared kitchen space has all I need. Will definitely come back again sometime. Thank You HAMORY!

This is a guesthouse and not a hotel so the expectation is different, but the host was extremely friendly and the location was very convenient. The room was small but had just enough space for one person. The only downside was the that the stairs are a bit steep and there’s no elevator. I could see that being a concern for older folks. Overall an excellent experience!

The owners of guesthouse are really kind. When my friend and I checked out in early morning and waited for bus to airport, then taxi stopped before us and we can't speak Korean, the owner came and help us communicate so we got the taxi with the price as same as a bus to the airport. Thanks to her. The queen-bed-room is a little bit smaller than I thought but comfortable for 2 women and clean. The location is great. Near DDP, convenience store, Lotte Fitin and also has night market after 7 pm. But the Dongdaemun Hitory and culture has too many stairs. I was really tried when I dragged my huge luggage from the station up to exit. สำหรับคนไทยนะคะ ที่พักดีอยู่ เจ้าของเกสต์เฮ้าส์ใจดีมาก เราไปกินอาหารเช้าเลทก็ไม่ว่าอะไรเลย เราขอโทษเขาไปด้วยที่มากินเลท แถมตอนกลับ เราออกจาที่พักเช้ามาก มารอบัสไปสนามบิน เพราะขนของไปรถไฟใต้ดินไม่ไหว (คือ ที่พักใกล้สถานีมาก ๆ แต่สถานี Dongdaemun History & Culture ก็คือ บันไดเยอะมาก และไม่มีลิฟต์ ไม่มีบันไดเลื่อน ต้องแบกของขึ้นลงบันไดเองค่ะ) แล้วทีนี้มีแท็กซี่มาจอดข้างหน้า แต่เราพูดเกาหลีไม่ได้ เจ้าของที่พัก(ที่เหมือนเพิ่งลุกมาจากเตียง)ก็เข้ามาคุยให้ แล้วได้ราคาที่เท่ากับนั่งรถบัสไปสนามบินเลยค่ะ แถมเร็วกว่า สะดวกกว่าด้วย (ค่ารถบัสจากที่พักไปสนามบินคนละ 15000 วอนค่ะ ประมาณสามร้อยกว่าบาท แพงมาก แท็กซี่คิด 30000 วอน แต่เราไปสองคนก็คือเท่าค่ารถบัสพอดี แล้วก็พี่แท็กซี่ใจดีมากค่ะ แจกมาร์สหน้าให้ด้วย 5555) ห้องพักแคบไปหน่อย แต่สะอาดค่ะ ห้องควีนเบดรูมคือเตียงไม่กว้างมาก แต่ผู้หญิงสองคนนอนได้ แต่อาจจะเล็กไปสำหรับผู้ชาย ข้อเสียก็อย่างที่บอก บันไดเยอะมาก 555

The overall stay was pleasant and hotel is in a good location for shopping.

Everything is great except No Lift. Stairs only, Difficult if you have many suitcase and luggage.

A great no grills place to stay. This is my third time staying there when I had business to take care of on the area.

Room is pretty standard in size for a hotel in Seoul, but very clean. Staff was helpful and friendly. A good price for such a great location.

I had an amazing stay at Hamory Guesthouse! I've never felt such a nice warm welcome to Seoul by the wonderful hosts/owners upon arrival and throughout the whole stay! I love how close it is to many transit/subway lines and to DDP which was right across the street. The room was perfect and the AC unit is very responsive. There's a convenience store next to it so it was good to be able to get something late at night. Shopping is amazing, there are tons of shopping spots near the area, even the late night market is right outside! I highly recommend this place! Great for those with a budget! And tons of restaurants all over! Did I mention the WiFi is free and very reliable!?? Well it is!

The owners were very approachable and helpful. Room will a bit small but still manageable.
