Hotel Amare

Location and cleanliness ok with daily house keeping. The only short fall is no proper cabinet and no toilet curtain for bath tub. Breakfast ok but no change of items thought out my one week stay.

Conveniently located, great price, great staff, decent breakfast

Excellent location with easy accessibility to transportation. It’s possible to walk to most tourist attractions. The room is clean and spacious including the bathroom. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Unlimited free bottled water is available in the room and lounge. Laundry machines are available on site. The breakfast is very simple but sufficient. Very pleasant stay at Hotel Amare for 1 week. We will stay there again if we go back to Seoul.

Nice hotel, clean and spacious room, friendly staff ready to help. Access to bottles of water was a plus for me.

Great staff, clean room and facility. Great location. Breakfast: eggs, sausage, white bread, soft roll, mashed potatoes, salad, juice and coffee- same every morning

We lived the room, especially the fancy toilet with bidet. The front desk staff were super friendly and helpful. They allowed us to check into our room early. We hadn’t slept yet because our flight was at 2 AM. This allowed us to rest got a bit before exploring outside. Bottled water was complimentary and you just grab more from the fridge at the entrance. Thank you for a wonderful and memorable stay.

Didn't see laundry, facility fairly clean

We are generally pleased with our stay for about 2 weeks. Area is safe to walk around and we are close to a lot of dining options. We are also close walking distance to transportation and major attractions like the gwanghwamun gate and palaces, myeongdong, cheonggye stream, insadong and ikseondong areas. Hotel room was spacious (though a little old; could not lock the windows as the locks were broken; the bathroom layout has a door to the shower compartment and a separate door to the toilet compartment, but no overall door to the bathroom so less privacy (if sharing the room)). Walls had good sound proof, the plastic under the bed sheets didn't bother us, nice little roof top that we enjoyed on our last day. Staff is overall friendly and courteous. You can borrow umbrellas on rainy days, and you have free water that you can grab as you need it. Breakfast was served everyday, and while options are limited to bread, egg, sausage, banana, mashed potato, salad/tomato - these were pretty healthy options and fed us well so that we did not have to worry about finding breakfast elsewhere.

Easy access and parking

I stayed with my sister in this hotel for our first time in Seoul. We were so glad we picked this place. It is very close to a lot tourist areas like Ikseon-dong and Myeongdong. Very close to the metro as well. We felt safe even when we got back to the hotel late. The rooms were clean and the staff was nice. The complementary bfast was a huge plus!

there are plentiful of eateries nearby but I cannot be wandering often with a group of drunk ppl standing near KTVs staring at me and trying to look for trouble, the area is great but not the safest

Staff was very helpful and rooms were quite big and spacious, overall we had a good time in Seoul as every thing was close by. Only recommendation is if the breakfast area was small and there is no elevator as we had few people in our group had knee issues and that was the only issue we had. Breakfast was served fresh every morning.

Large room, clean and nice shower head, great to have a lovely shower after a long day out. Close and convenient to transport and so many restaurants nearby. Will stay again. Includes breakfast, but dining area is very small, we only had breakfast on the first morning of the five nights as we had to share a table that morning and it's not relaxing.

The property was well maintained.

free parking and free breakfast are good. Everything is walkable, very convenient to shopping and restaurants.

It was very close to the city center and bukas stops and subway stops, right next to Tapgol Park. Place was clean but the ac is a little weak. The free breakfast was nice but very basic - eggs, sausage, bread, banana, mashed potato. Staff was helpful, they let us extend for a minimal fee.
