The hotel is a 3 star hotel but it definitely needed to be a minimum of 4 star to be fair. Room is spacious and it was everything that anyone can need and in very good shape.

Rooms are cleaned and towels are changed everyday, water bottles are also provided daily. Unfortunately one of the elevators is unattended during our stay, nonetheless our stay was always pleasant everytime

Our stay was overall very good! Only things to complain about is that the air conditioning only turned on when we had a room key inside the room, and even then it didnt work very well. Our room ended up being 80° most nights. Also, BE CAREFUL when getting in the bathtub if someone else showered before you. It is SO slippery and there is no texture or mat on the bottom. I ended up giving my boyfriend the scare of his life when i fell haha. The area is perfect for night life, but be aware that there will be a lot of loud music going on outside in the middle of the night all the way until 5am or so. If you are a light sleeper, maybe look somewhere else. The subway is literally a 5 minute walk away though, so it was super convenient since we were constantly up and doing something in the city during the day. Overall, I'd rate the place a 4 out of 5 and would definitely consider staying here again!

what a nightmare! there’re construction going on at the hotel but didn’t get informed at the check in.
it was unbearably loud and impossible to stay in the room during my stay.
they shouldn’t accommodate any guests at that condition.

I’ve stayed at IP several times, and I think this will be my last. I usually stay there because it’s close to a fun neighborhood, but IP is starting to show its age and laziness in customer service.
For the room, the carpet is pretty old and feels dirty, and the toilet bidet didn’t work.
Thanks for the good times IP, but you’ve lost a good VIP client.

Nonsmoking signs are prominent at imperial palace boutique hotel but the rooms and hallways reek of cigarette smoke. The carpet and rugs were either stained or dirty. Staff were okay, did not provide excellent service. Room was humid, damp, smelled of mold, toilet was dirty and clothes/sheets/towels were always a bit damp due to the humidity in the room? Asked for another room but was told it was max capacity and no other rooms were available. Location is good but that is the only saving grace for this stay. Would not book again mainly due to air quality and hotel building condition.

Move to a safer neighborhood and cleaner hotel. The room is full of mirrors, inside the shower area, ceiling etc , gives you a felling like someone is constantly watching you.
