Jongno Makers X IPPDA Hotel

Excellent location and price however you get what you pay for. The washroom was very dirty despite it being cleaned before our stay. We also found stains on our sheets and dust behind items when moved to make more space (ex, the phone and coffee tray). If you do not care for cleanliness, i recommend booking this place! However if this is something that really bothers you, pls look elsewhere. Despite all, the location was exceptional, literally steps away from the metro and the most lively street with tons of bakeries and activities.

The room was too small after our luggage was opened there's barely any room for anything. The bed was hard, almost wood like in my opinion. The AC cant be turned on either and is controlled centrally. Its a major party hub street but is centrally located, exit/entrance to subway is right outside the door

No AC as is reaching winter towels looks worn out and yellowish

Clean room, friendly and helpful staff, superb location for tourists, especially ones who want nightlife as there are night markets right outside the door.

The location is very central and right outside a metro station.

La ubicación es centrica para visitar areas turisticas, pero en las noches la calle se vuelve un lugar muy bullicioso donde los locales llegan a beber y hacer "vida social". No es un ambiente familiar. La cama es durísima, dificil descansar.

I stayed a week. The location, on the famous Pocha St, is great. It can be super loud but on the 8th floor, it was ok. My room was around 150 sq ft. Maybe... The mattress was on the floor so it was hard. There is no cleaning of the room, even for a one week stay.

The room was a bit run down, the bed super hard. The location is great and the hotel is safe

Always very friendly and helpful staff, very central position, walkable area with lot of attractions, perfect public transportation connection hub for the whole city.

Although the room was good there was no service, either at reception or cleaning the room. Is also doesn’t help that they have changed the name of the hotel. After five taxis couldn’t find the hotel, l picked up a card that said it was the “Jongno Makers X” hotel.

It was lovely, clean and the staff were very helpful!!

Pleasant staff, convenient location. Being steps away from a subway exit was a huge plus. The street can be busy at night, but it's part of the charm. I also prefer firm beds so it didn't bother me. Let staff know if you want the room cleaned. I'll be sure to come back someday!

I’m sorry to write that the hallway and elevator had a smell. It was both dirty as well. My room was mostly quiet but with very little frills. The view from the tiny window was blocked but it remained dark which was a good thing when fighting jet lag. I walked by an opened door to the rooms on the other side and it looked nicer and brighter. It looked liked it had a little better amenities than my room as well.

The hotel was at one of the best locations. The room wasnt big but enough to fit 2 people. The bed was hard like sleeping on the floor but its okay if you sleep on your back. Suggest to bring ear plugs as the hotel faces one of the main streets so it gets pretty loud til about 2am. But the hotel's location makes up for everything. If youre under 30, this is perfect for you, right across from bars, food street and shopping.

Our room was absolutely filthy! There were somebodies socks, earrings and bottle cap lids underneath our mattress. There were also crumbs and layers of dust everywhere, even on the walls. Our room absolutely stank and our bed sheets had blood stains all over them. We complained to the manager downstairs who tried to help by changing our bed sheets and hoovering but we kept finding more dirt. He also walked all over our bed with his shoes on whilst ‘cleaning’. We were unable to move rooms that night as it was midnight and he couldn’t do anything else for us. We immediately moved to the hotel next door and Jongno Makers x Pretty hotel and Expedia have refused to give us a refund for their terrible service and standards.

Really hard beds and no chair, closet or other furniture in room. Otherwise location was close to many sites, metro and eating. Bathroom was good enough. Staff spoke English but not smoothly. Fair price.

Great location next to metro entrance. Multiple restaurants and cafes in that area. Room would need bit update and bathroom was bit dirty but still okey.

Do not stay at this property if you want a nice stay. The area is amazing but lively at night and loud. The room was grubby, mouldy and stuffy. The bathroom smelt bad and I felt very unsafe for the duration of my stay. The bed was honestly the hardest thing I have ever slept on. We stayed at 4 other places during our trip to Korea and nowhere else had beds like this. The foyer is okay but the lift and corridor smells strongly off rancid fatty food. We think this was a re-fitted motel/love hotel. Avoid if possible.

This hotel is okay for the short term. It’s missing important things for long term stay like laundry service and daily room cleaning services. Its location is very convenient however. It is also quite small. I still enjoyed my stay though. There are other options in the area at the same price point that are more flushed out in services. Good for the short term this place is.

Bed was hard. There was a hole in the wall on the 10th floor and One night around 11pm another guest opened the door to my room with a key . Otherwise it was fine
