Spa Pension Basso

Fantastic stay! The room was clean, good facilities in the kitchen, close to Sokcho and Seoraksan, the owners were lovely, nice space to get free coffee downstairs, AMAZING after our stay HOT TUB and the owner did a drop off for us in Sokcho.

The owners were very friendly and lovely. They speak a little English, so prepared a welcome note for us explaining everything. Breakfast was delicious, hot cooked sausage and eggs and also fruit and breads. We love it here, we'll be back for sure.

Spa pension Basso is located only a short drive from Sokcho (~15mins). Next to it is the famous Italian restaurant Matsu. Our room was cosy, kitchen was equipped, there was a spa tub in the room, as well as a living room. The room and the pension itself are very well decorated. On the 2nd day we were there, it snowed and it was so beautiful around the area! It's amazing! The owner is very very nice. We arrived lage and after taking us to our room, he came over again to pass us the English map of Sokcho and the region. He can speak some Mandarin and limited English. Breakfast was provided and it was very delicious and fresh! (Western breakfast - bread, fruits, egg, sausage and salad). Overall it has been a very pleasant stay! Would recommend to anyone :)

Clean. Feeling of being Rural. Very quiet. Very close to bus to town and Seokosan National Park. Owner very friendly and helpful. Picks you up from bus station etc. English not so good so part communication through Smartphone. Loved the rural feeling but still close to town.

Small, but cosy and beautifully decorated pension with small number of rooms. Rooms are good and clean, and you have whirlpool right in you room! Though because of whirlpool there is no wall between bathroom and bedroom actually, only a curtain. Family owning the pension is very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts are included and very good, though it is a little late to have breakfast at 9 o'clock if you are going to mountains from the very morning. Overall, pension is great!

We checked in early but then the host is very kind to let us get our room. He is very warm and nice and offer to drive us to the nearby bus stop to go to seroksan mountain. We wanted to have lunch first and so he drove us to the nearby restaurant and also translated what is in the menu and ordered the meal for us. We are very grateful for his help. The other morning we were late for breakfast because we thought breakfast starts at 9am but in fact it ends at 9am. The host couple saw us and they went back to the kitchen and prepared the breakfast for us. We felt really bad yet warmth by their kindness. And the breakfast was so great! Home made bread, salad, sausage and egg. Yummy! we enjoyed our stay so much although it is only for a night. The room is clean and comfy. The whirlpool is great. When we left, the host drove us to the bus terminal. Although it is not ranked as a 5 star hotel, the courtesy and the warmth welcome of the host is something you definitely can't get from a 5 star hotel. We highly recommend it to everyone.

조용하고 사장님 친절하시고 옆 작은카페에선 언제든지 커피를 마실수 있는 편안하고 조용하게 가족끼리 실수있는 곳인듯 합니다..

스파팬션은 처음인데 아이들이 굉장히 만족하고 또한 주인분내외께서 너무 인상도 좋으시고 친절하셔서 만족스러운 여행이였습니다

나쁘지는 않았지만, 아이들과 편하게 목욕할수 있을거라고 생각했는데 욕조가 실내에 덩그러니 있어서... 저는 적응하기 어려웠어요. ㅠㅠ 아이들은 자꾸 밖으로 물을 튀기는데 그래도 되는건지. 그거 막고 못하게 하느라 더 피곤. ㅠㅠ 탕에서 TV 볼수 있는 구조는 아니었고요. 금액이 무척?비싼 느낌이들긴했고요. 아이들없이. 겨울 아닌 다른계절에 간다면 좋을수도 있겠네요.

가족과함께한 속초여행! 깨끗하고 친절하신 주인 아저씨 덕분에 즐거운 여행이 됐습니다. 다시 한번 갈 의향도 있어요 특히 애기가 스파를 너무 좋아했네요 ㅎㅎ

외부시설과 가구 등 노후화가 되었네요. 주인분들은 친철하고 좋으셨는데 시설대비 가격은 좀 비싼편 같아요

속초 들어가기전 한가찐 위치에 설악산가기도 편하고 실내 실외 구성품도 좋고 전경이나 분위기도 사장님이 신경 쓰시는게 보일정도로 좋네요

침구상태.청소상태 그어떤곳보다 깨끗했구요..스파도 따뜻하게 잘했습니다..슬리퍼가 구비되어있어서 왔다갔다하기도 좋았습니다..따뜻한 아침식사도 좋았구요..1박만하고오기 아쉬웠어요..또 가보려고합니다.

사장님이 친절하게 대해주셔서 좋았어요. 펜션 관리상태는 기대보단 좋진 못하네요... 사진보단 많이 노후화(?) 가족들과 조용히 다녀오기 좋았네요.

스파라고 하지 마세요. 개인 프라이버시는 개무시되는 구조에 조금 큰 프라스틱 탕이라고 하세요

곰팡이 냄새 정말 심해서 잠을 못잤다 1층이여서 그런지 몰라도~ 올드한 느낌의 인테리어 커튼 침구류~~정말 속상했다 방안 한켠에 있는 스파와 전용티브이 덕분에 그나마 괸찮았슴
