I chose staria hostel to stay for my first week trip to Seoul. The room is not that big, but not that small for me and my mom. There is enough space for my 2 big luggage. The location is also convenient, it's near myeongdong station. It takes 2-3 minutes. Breakfast also great. They provide free hanbok experience. The guy in the receptionist helped me to reserve the bus to Sokcho. overall, I had a pleasant stay at starria hostel.

From check in to check out everything was amazing. The host was very nice and friendly, let me check in early and we even chatted a little before I headed out for the day. Room: The room was very cute, extremely clean, and amenities + water bottles were provided. I had my own private bathroom which was great. There was AC and heating, and floor heating as well. It was cozy, enough space for my suitcase and shopping bags. Location: It's in a great location! Myeongdong is a great place to go shopping and it was in walking distance so I could shop and then walk back to drop off all my bags and then head somewhere else. The station was maybe a 4-5 min walk away? It is up a hill so if you have some mobility issues then it might be a little hard. Also, in winter it is a little slippery but not very bad. Overall, this was an awesome place to stay! Very cute, clean and convenient. Will definitely book again in the future and recommend to all my friends !

The host/staff let me store my luggage for a few hours before the check in time and after my check out so that was very nice. The hostel was clean in general, the lobby was very spacious with lots of chairs to sit around and there's a corner with a good collection of LPs. I was also able to use their washing machine/dryer during my stay free of charge. Although I stayed in a room with no windows, it has 2 twin size beds so there was a lot of space for me to put my things. The small bathroom doesn't have a divider between the toilet seat and shower area so everything gets wet. There are also instances where the water from the shower seeps through the bathroom door so I had to face the nozzle away from the door. No breakfast is included when I stayed but there are coffee and sandwich shops down the street. The hostel is 6 mins walk to the myeongdong subway station, the local bus stops and airport bus stop. At night when walking the street towards the hostel I could see namsan tower at the top of the mountain. Overall my stay was comfortable and the staff was really attentive and always ready to help. Thank you and keep up the great work!

Staff seemed pleasant. Check in was easy, check out took a little longer as I had to wait for someone to show up to the front desk and there was no means for calling them once at the front desk. Property was very secure. The room we stayed in was very small, and the bathroom/shower area was minuscule, but was well kept. The towel provided was more like a flannel, but it lasted for our 5 day stay. The first morning I showed up to breakfast I arrived at the start and nothing was prepared yet, and had to serve myself whilst everything was put out. Selection was always the same every day. Bread, that can be toasted. Cheese slices, jam, butter. Two types of cereal. Milk. Water dispenser. Coffee machine. Orange Juice. Also there was a basket of eggs, and 2 utensils for making scrambled eggs. Me and my girlfriend wanted to try on the traditional clothing that is available in this dining area also. Unfortunately though there was only female clothing available. It was fun, and was a nice extra experience to the hostel. Overall it was a pleasant stay. We spent most our time in Korea away from the hostel, so it sufficed as somewhere just to come home too and sleep. The main plus of this hostel is its location. It is very easy to get too from the nearby subway station. Takes just 5-10mins to walk there, and has many places on the road to eat, and get supplies. It is ideal for walking to the nearby markets, and to Seoul Tower. The subway nearby can easily take you anywhere you like.

Starria is the best ! close with everything and they give you breakfast which super awesome except there were 1 time it was very late. they prepare at 8:30am but its fine, at least they extend the breakfast time. laundry is 3000won and they do everything for you and your cloths smells good too. the lift is the major catch for this place !! love it. super convenient. the staff are helpful but not as friendly, probably cause they don't speak good English. but anyways, sometimes I even scared to speak to them cause they don't really smile. but other than that everything is good. Don't mind to comeback and recommend the place.

Stayed in their single bed room for 5 nights during my solo trip to Seoul. - The room comes with a private bathroom even for the single bed room - The room was clean and bed was comfortable - Each room is provided with their own wifi. Had no issue or lag with the wifi during my stay there. - Basic amenities are provided (bath gel, shampoo, towels and a bottle of water) - Breakfast is available from 0700H to 0900H everyday. I didnt eat my breakfast in the hostel during my stay, so i cant comment much on what they serve - They do provide laundry service though you have to bring your clothes to the reception and the staff will do the laundry for you. There is no self-service laundry available. - The hostel is located less than a 10min walk to Myeong-dong Station. There is a 24/7 convenience store nearby

The hostel was well located - very near Namsan Tower and Myeongdong. However, it is located uphill so you may have trouble if you are carrying many luggage with you. The bathroom is rather small but the room is decently sized. They have heated floors which was great but it was not evenly distributed so some areas of the room were cold. Please be advised that Myeongdong station does not have a lift/elevator access from platform to street level as there is a certain section which requires you to take the stairs so I suggest that taking a taxi to the hostel may be more convenient.

Very helpful staff at hotel reception. Free Hanbok experience was fun. Breakfast was basic but satisfactory.
