Apartamentos Halley

The apartments are very very basic! On one occasion there was cigarette stubs in the pool. There are absolutely no facilities on site!

Pool area lovely, great views, spacious, clean, large balcony. Comfortable bed, value for money.

Perfect quiet location. Excellent pool area.

Check in was stated to be 2-4.30pm so I arrived at 3pm. The entrance (gate) was locked and for 10 minutes I waited patiently, ringing the bell regularly, with no answer. Over the next 3 hours I called the number, which is on the booking & by the door, many times. Twice early on it was answered and I was told that someone would be there soon. They weren't. The other times the number was busy or unanswered. I called hotels.com who also couldn't reach them, and they started to search for alternative accommodation for me, though after over 40 minutes that call dropped. All that time, over 3 hours, I was waiting at the main entrance and not one person arrived or left the complex, it seemed to be closed, and it started to get dark. Finally a man arrived. He was pleasant and while I waited at reception he went to prepare what he said would be a nicer room than the one booked. It was okay except that there was a hole in the kitchen sink that meant that water flowed into the cupboard underneath. I messaged the management, as the staff had again left, but no reply from them, and nothing was done. I used the bathroom sink instead of the kitchen sink for the rest of my stay. The problem was clearly not new from the mess in the cupboard. The wifi offered in compensation at check in was only accessible from near the pool, not from the room or its terrace. I never got any response or apology from management I regret booking here, there are many better run, nicer & cheaper apartments around.

Gail & Dave are so friendly & helpful. Budget accommodation however everything you need in an apartment. Top of a hill however great for walking off your dinner & beers!! Fantastic views Would definitely recommend Halley Apartments

Lovely apartment, with fantastic views - Reception wasn't open 9 -5 pm as advised on sign, but this didn't make a great difference to me. Would definitely visit again.

Fantastic hosts

We stayed at Apartamentos Halley for a week in October, and could not have been happier. This small gated complex is set in a very peaceful location, with wonderful views over Puerto Rico. Our apartment was clean, modern and had everything we needed for our stay. The pool is lovely, clean and well maintained, just the right size, and never busy. Just 5 minutes walk away there is a nice supermarket and a number of very good restaurants. Gail/Dave and their team are very helpful and go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable.

Great place with superb location on the hill overlooking the marina. All apartments are currently being refurbished at 5 at a time it has no impact on the guests. Rooms are fairly basic but impeccably clean and have everything you need for your stay. The pool is bathed in sunshine all day so no need to rush for beds. All rooms have sea view which are amazing. We had room 10. Management are really friendly and helpful with info on places to eat etc. There's a hyperdino a 10 min walk away that sells everything, alongside numerous eateries. A further 5 /10 min walk puts you on the beach. Car parking is available on the street directly outside the gated entrance.

Nettoyage ou remplacement des serviettes seulement sur demande. L'annonce faisait état d'un grand frigo congélateur, il ne s'agit que d'un TOP. Les horaires d'ouverture de la réception ne sont pas respectés. Point positif la disponibilité et la gentilesse de la personne en charge de l'entretien. Nous ne renouvèlerons pas l'expérience. Cleaning or replacement of towels only on request. The advert mentioned a large fridge freezer, this is only a TOP. Reception opening times are not respected. On the plus side, the person in charge of cleaning was available and friendly. We will not repeat the experience.

Cleaning not exceptional, room cleaned only 2 times in 13 days. Quite close to the sea and some supermarkets. Nothing special, acceptable.

La Única pega del apartamento es que la recepción no estaba casi nunca abierta y no cogian el teléfono que ponen de Contacto. En cuanto a lo demás todo muy bien el trato cuando hemos podido localizarles bien

La verdad q los aptos estan muy bien y el citio donde estan os lo recomiendo para pasar unos dias de relajacion totall en familia y la atencion muy cordial estaremos pronto x alli de nuevo

La experiencia para desconectar, relajarte,estar cómodo y disfrutar. Súper bien la verdad. El dueño muy amable y generoso.

There are so many benefits: - Really good service, very kind receptionists that shared useful tips on what to see, and where to go. - Very good price. - Spacious terrace and a spectacular view of the sea, town and hills. - Location & flexibility as the hotel is a short walking distance to the sea, harbour, and the centre of the town. - Privacy & comfortable beds. - Recommendable to any types of travellers (couples, solo, families). We had a really good experience and would love to come back.

Wieder einmal wurden wir freundlich empfangen und konnten das gleiche Appartment wie beim letzten Mal bewohnen.Mit bestem Meerblick.Wir kommen gerne wieder!
