Barceló Fuerteventura Mar

Room was clean and comfortable. No information provided at check in re location of facilities, entertainment programme, or anything about accessing pool towels or safe. No mention of any expedia VIP benefits even though I am a platinum member. Luggage room available, but left unlocked and anyone could access it.

Beautiful receptionist Zana looked after me. Room was perfect and seemed a great quiet location until the noise of an adjacent Irish pub , changed all that, after dark

La struttura è molto ben curata e il personale davvero gentile simpatico e disponibile. La stanza non è nuovissima ma è ampia e con tutto il necessario. I ristoranti Tindaya e messicano sono entrambi a buffet e abbastanza nella media per essere un all inclusive. Il ristorante brasiliano invece ha tutto un altro servizio ed è un’esperienza diversa con carne di qualità a scelta. Nella zona eventi di sera c’è sempre uno spettacolo con un cocktail bar davvero ben fornito. Note negative: la spiaggia è con ombrelloni a pagamento, la piscina baby che dovrebbe avere acqua riscaldata in realtà è a 24 gradi (quindi fredda per i bimbi) e alcuni servizi a pagamento davvero inspiegabili per un 4 stelle (cassaforte 3€ al giorno, telo mare 10€ di cauzione in contanti e 2€ per cambiarlo).

Everything was just perfect. The room , the staff, the amenities and for sure the breakfast!!!

Excellent, very clean

Great hotel in the beautiful alcove of Caleta de Fuste. Barceló has extensive facilities, a good all inclusive option and bedroom was clean and spacious with king bed

Bedroom could have been cleaned better, hair in the floor.

Staff and general hotel facilities were brilliant. Room although clean was of poor quality (marks and damage across most items, shower leaking etc.) A lot of noise from neighbouring bars and airplanes overhead.

If I will return here, I would like to see more babies/kids activities.

Had loads of ants in first room and changed room the main thing that let’s this hotel down for me is areas such as the spa or mini golf which is advertised and part of the hotel you have to pay extra for

Lovely room, good location next to the beach, harbour and local shops … convenient for the airport.. food was excellent

Great hotel for famielies an

The hotel is beautiful and has beautiful pools. All areas are nice and tidy. Really enjoyed my time there.

Location: great. Near airport, shops, bars and on lovely beach. Room - clean but don't like having to pay to use the safe. Our patio had no privacy between our neighbours and the hot tub was more like a bath tub (for one) which you had to fill up before use. The top AI package was good as included a bar at the marina and free access to the spa where you could relax around the pool without feeling like a sardine. Lomi lomi massage was not cheap but it was excellent. Food - as vegans, this hotel had the least terrible reviews on Fuerta Ventura which is why we chose it. Signage was good but choice was very limited. Could order in advance for the whole week some vegan alternatives (tofu, sausages, fake chicken nuggets, vege burger) which we did. Sausages and nuggets were actually excellent! There was at least plant based milk and yoghurt available without asking. Evening entertainment was good but bar as understaffed so service slow. Bar by pool was well staffed but some bartenders were lacking knowledge on cocktails and on several occasions the glasses smelt dirty (so we always asked for plastic ones). Overall service was good though and friendly and they did try their best to help us vegans!

Poor accessibility in and around site and in rooms. We requested a stool in the shower as the cubicle is large (good) but for disabled people like us, we cannot balance and wash properly in this size cubical. It never came! Ramps are narrow and hidden in corners. The main bar and outside bar are set up on increasing height steps. Impossible to carry drinks down them. Food was very poor. Almost as bad as 1970s food. Only one choice of white wine at main bar-undrinkable. The estate was like enormous blocks of flats. Not pretty and too far to walk anywhere.

Very nice hotel, but only stayed one night, so harder to judge.

Lovely place!

Great with kids and for playing in the pools. Only one out of two big pools are heated though. Not enough deck chairs around the pools for all guests and guests shamelessly “reserve“ the chairs without sanctions from the hotel staff. Inclusive food and beverages at equal levels to similar hotels with a generous choice. Rooms and facilities are proper and clean. Very friendly staff.

Nice place just many old people do not much going on at night time in the area if you under 40’ . Service should be faster at the bar and more stuff around buffet areas to clean up .
