Be Mate Gran Vía Suites

The location is five stars The inability to get check in codes before the exact check in time was inconvenient The apartment was nicely appointed, could do with a kettle as one of the hot plates didn’t work. The three flights of stairs was not fun with heavy luggage, which I unfortunately missed in the rental listing details I did find early check in at 10€ per hour a bit rich, that said our apartment wasn’t ready until 3pm anyway A nice stay but not a fabulous one

Great apartment! Very clean and close to everything. If you have heavy luggage prepare for a workout going up to the apartments. Aside from no elevators the stay was great!

Brilliant apartment right in the centre of Madrid.

Great location. It was close to the main street with lots of shopping stores, as well as another street with lots of dining options. Very walkable to and from. There is a bar down the street but it wasn’t loud or anything while we were in the room. I would suggest lining the sofa bed with a sweater or a mattress topper where the wooden support beam is because you will feel it in your back when sleeping there. Overall, it was a cute apt and comfortable for the four of us.

I mostly liked my stay at this apartment, but there was one problem - after checking out, I was notified of a 50 euro charge being added to my bill to cover repair of a piece of paneling that had come off just below the kitchen sink. This piece was noticeably loose during our stay, but I didn't think anything of it. Some re-caulking was obviously required. If Be Mate is in the habit of charging their guests for items that should be part of routine maintenance, then I can't recommend them and probably won't stay with them again.

Great location - easy walk to Gran Via & Sol metro stations, and 1 hour by metro from the Airport. 20 mins walk to Cathedral & Palacio Real, 30 mins walk to Prado museum. Supermarket at end of road. Apartment is comfortable. 3rd floor with no lift.

Awesome!

Great apartment for three of us to stay in. Beds were super comfortable and peaceful for the night. Shopping, dining, and all that central Madrid has to offer is on the door step. The property managers were very responsive and helpful. The checkin process I found rigorous to do for three people on my phone screen but we got there in the end.

Nice apartment close to gran via metro station, it's a comfortable and cozy place to stay, location is awesome and it's a keyless entrance, staff was really friendly and available for any question. The only concern is the stair, three floors with baggage is not easy but it's usual in Madrid

Absolutely incredible apartment! The space is super generous and wonderfully stylish. The location is incredible, in the heart of Gran Vie so the perfect hub for finding somewhere to fuel up as well as sightseeing. Above all, the staff are incredible - brilliant pre-arrival information and available through our our stay. We absolutely loved staying there as our home in Madrid and can’t wait to book again! Muchas gracias!

The suites appeared to be an apartment that was divided in rooms. The suites decor is modern and the inside of the little apt was was clean and nice looking. However, the building where the apt complex is located is sketchy. First off all the main door of the building had graffiti, the building walls looked dirty and the area were it is located looked abandoned. When we entered the building right next to the door, there was a trash bag and later in the evening there where 2 trash carts that you can hit when accessing the entrance. We went for a walk and got late in the night there was no lights in floors 4 to 4 so thankfully we had our phones that we used to lighten the way up the stairs to the suites. Both of the items mentioned above are safety issues that need to be solved. The suites as mentioned above are nice but the management needs to ensure the building is safe to make the whole stay more pleasant.

great place to stay in Madrid. Walkable distance from the main attractions, shopping places and restaurants. And the communication with the people that attend us was great.
