Casona De La Pinta

Un fin de semana perfecto. La Casona de la Pinta es mucho más que una casa rural. Se parece más a un hotel boutique de 5 estrellas, pero con el encanto de estar en plena naturaleza, justo en el Camino Real —antiguo trazado del Camino de Santiago. Desde la llegada (tardísima un viernes por la noche) todo fueron facilidades. La atención es cercana, implicada, auténtica. Te ayudan con recomendaciones, rutas, y lo que necesites. No desayuné allí, pero lo vi y tenía una pinta espectacular. Mi habitación estaba en la planta superior, abuardillada, preciosa. Detalles por todas partes: persianas automáticas, cama comodísima, aire acondicionado silencioso, amenities de calidad, toallas estupendas, Smart TV con conexión a Internet… ¡hasta las ventanas se abren eléctricamente! La decoración está cuidada con mimo. Una oda al detalle. ¿El ascensor? No tiene. Pero subir y bajar un par de veces no empaña para nada la experiencia. La ubicación es estratégica: en menos de media hora puedes estar en Santillana del Mar, Comillas, San Vicente de la Barquera, o por el otro lado, en Santander, Liérganes… Perfecto para explorar la costa cántabra. Un sitio de referencia. Volveré seguro. Gracias por hacerlo tan bien.

This hotel was in the prettiest little town which we loved. The room was a great size with plenty of space for our bags and a large nice bathroom. We were in a studio suite and would definitely recommend it. The town itself doesn’t have much to do as the local restaurant is only open during the afternoon during the week and then there is a one bar (cash only). If you’re looking for a quiet hotel in a quaint town this place is perfect!

Our family enjoyed a two night stay at Casona De La Pinta and we were very impressed. It was the highlight of our trip. We travelled from Biarritz, France into Spain and through Navarra, the Basque country and into Cantabria - and we fell in love with this boutique hotel and the village of Riocorvo. The hotel staff are friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble and they were very forgiving of our limited Spanish. We stayed in the Presidential Studio Suite which was beautifully appointed and very comfortable. The location is peaceful, surrounded by beautiful countryside and mountains but only a short drive from the coast. The local bar (Bar La Plazuela) and restaurant (La Cuchara de las Meninas) both served amazing, delicious food with warm, friendly service. We highly recommend Casona De La Pinta.
