Excellent basic hotel as the name implies. As a solo traveler this was perfect. Small, comfortable room, convenient to the Gothic Quarter, Barcoloneta (beach area) and the Metro at Jaume to connect you everywhere else. The local in El Born is great and puts you steps away from shopping, food and lovely strolls. Good price for the location and comfort. Front desk was very friendly and helpful, especially arranging my transportation to the airport early in the morning.

Just fantastic, such a great vibe, cool atmosphere, clean large rooms, absolute GEM of a location in the most beautiful part of Barcelona. Sad to leave!!

I always judge a hotel by whether it has slippers or not! This one did! I’m also quite fussy about cleanliness and water pressure, this hotel was perfect. It was also really tasteful, cool and set in a superbly convenient location. We walked almost everywhere and when we went to Sagrada we took the metro which is right there. It’s in the lively and historical Born District in the Gothic Quarter - loved walking in the little lanes and alleyways. The staff were so helpful and friendly. Cannot fault this hotel and will stay again! Their restaurant looks really amazing and has a lot of external guests but we were keen to eat tapas and paella. There’s a fantastic cafe just opposite called Lady Babka which I can’t recommend highly enough.

Hotel is near shopping & bars/restaurant. Walkable to museums & other attractions. Just two minor things, They should put a note inside shower by the two knobs that are not to be touched at all or hang anything because it will interfere with the rest of the water in the bathroom. Also it was extremely noisy outside after 11pm not sure if it was due to the parade the past 2 days in the afternoon but it was a lot of banging, pushing, dragging of things & people screaming & talking loud.

Clean room and hotel. The staff was very helpful. Our room was in the back and our little balcony faced the windows of the next building just a few feet apart. But in fairness, the hotel is in the old neighborhood and it should be expected. We loved our stay, and experience with living in the heart of everything.

The room was very small for the price. Had difficulty finding a space to open luggage. You can do much better for the price. On the positive, it was a good location, centrally located, and the shower pressure was great. Finally, the breakfast option in the restaurant was uninspiring, and stairways are very dark and hard to navigate.

Really friendly staff. Good location for exploring much of the city and right by a Metro station as well. Can easily walk to most of the main sights from the hotel. My room was a good size. Would recommend.

Small, dark, chic hotel. Location is perfect as it is near the metro, restaurants and minutes away from attractions. The staff is friendly and helpful. Unsure is it was my small room but there was no phone or refrigerator. Staff will kindly keep your refrigerated items, just ask. Yes like others are saying the decor is dark and the dust is very visible to the naked eye. There was free coffee, water on tap (hot, cold, sparkling) along with treats upon existing the elevator. And you are welcomed by a bottle of wine, treats, a news article and a take away bag in your room.

It is very cool and good hotel. I have booked single room which is very very small so my luggage had to be open on the floor and had to jump over it on the way to the toilet or really anywhere. Corridors are so dark that even Bruce Lee would get lost and maybe even scared. Hmmm, not sure if he would get scared and to be honest I didn’t. All in all lovely hotel but remember it is a guest house and 3 stars. Barcelona is expensive but I wish I paid more for a bigger room. Check out at 12 is very civilised and comes handy. Restaurant next door is amazing experience. Worth even just getting a drink there. Thank you for reading.

The hotel was super cute and clean. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We loved the water and coffee stations on each floor. Air worked great. HIGHLY recommend the restaurant down stairs too. It was amazing.
