The location is great for visiting points of interest by walking and the use of metro.

This hotel is cute and the staff were helpful - but run far far away if they give you room 100. It’s above the kitchen and beside the restaurant which is open until 2 am - it has a squeaky door that opens and slams shut every few minutes, you can hear people talking and dishes being washed. It’s truly awful.

Great location, but small details let it a bit down. The location in El Born is genuinely hard to beat — steps from Santa Maria del Mar, surrounded by great restaurants and bars. The evening Italian restaurant on-site was a real highlight, and breakfast was decent. That said, a few things stopped us from fully enjoying the stay. We paid extra for a room with a balcony, but what we got was essentially a French balcony — a railing 40 cm from the wall, with no room to actually stand outside. And leaving the door open wasn't an option, as pigeons came walking straight in... :-) The corridor doors were heavy and had no soft-close mechanism, so every time a neighbouring room was entered or exited — often before we'd woken up and after we'd gone to bed — there was a loud slam. In a frequented corridor, this became a bit of an annoyance. The elevator was painfully slow to summon, so be aware that the stairs wil be used for the day-to-day use. All in all: a fantastic neighbourhood, but these small details mean we'll be looking for somewhere else next time.

A great location in El Born if your goal is to explore the area, the neighbouring Gothic Quarter and nearby sites. This boutique hotel has a fun, and unique theme with Scottish, Cuban and punk rock motifs throughout. Friendly staff, rooms are clean and it also has a highly rated restaurant attached. Our room came with a small balcony overlooking the back streets. There was a hairdryer, towels, slippers, but the iron and ironing board are communal and you have to pick them up from reception.

Excellent and charming hotel. Perfectly located near everything you would like to see as well as the metro. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Barcelona.

Great location, friendly staff. Restaurant below can be a little noisy at night but it wasn’t too bad overall. Would stay here again.

Central to everything for our itinerary walkable, metro few steps away. Tons of restaurants, very nice neighborhoods. So pleased with our choice. Highly recommend.

Very hip space

Breakfast was fabulous, staff was always helpful, room was lovely, and location was perfection! Overall lighting quite dark, especially near elevator on the 3rd floor. Much too dark.

An incredibly cool hotel in a great area of the city

Location great! Cool quirky boutique hotel with a separate restaurant added. The staff was fabulous with the exception of a young male we only interacted with once….seemed bothered, bored and didn’t smile once. The ladies are awesome though and they will hold luggage pre/post stay. The noise level outside in the alley was really loud glass dumping lat at night. The only thing I was disappointed in was that the description said coffee/tea but it’s not in-room, it’s on each floor outside the elevator and the paper cups are teeny tiny.

The hotel definitely has a cool vibe, with modern decor and very nice common areas. The staff was also consistently friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout my stay, and the location was great. Unfortunately, the actual room experience was very disappointing. The bedroom was extremely basic and honestly not “chic” at all compared to how the hotel presents itself online. The air conditioner was incredibly noisy to the point where I could barely sleep, and it also barely worked. On top of that, using the bathroom/shower somehow triggered the fire alarm, which was very inconvenient. The bed was also extremely uncomfortable, and combined with the noise issues, it made it very difficult to rest properly. In the end, while the location, staff, and decor of the common areas were positives, the lack of comfort made the stay overall pretty horrible for me. I personally wouldn’t stay there again.

The staff was amazing. We forgot our cruise boarding passes, they printed for us at no charge. They stored our luggage with tags while we ventured out before our car arrived at no charge. BEST EXPERIENCE EVER @habanahoos

Clean hotel in an excellent spot for exploring the city. Room was spacious, beds were comfortable and staff were friendly. Decoration made us smile.
