pros: clean and nice room albeit small, very comfortable bed, lovely staff who let us check in an hour early, good central location for getting around the city cons: noise was biggest issue - there is zero noise cancelling between rooms and other areas at all; we had a group of extremely loud and talkative people next to us on the first night and they did not quieten down until 1am. this is obviously not the fault of the hotel moreso the construction of the building, but it did take away from our experience.

What a lovely small hotel in the centre of Madrid. The room has everything you need for a short stay, including daily service and fresh towels every day. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is awesome. Half a minute walk to the metro, 5 minutes walk to Sol and literally surrounded by hundreds of bars, cafes, restaurants, dancing clubs and local shops. I am looking forward to returning again soon! Gracias

Staff was wonderful! It’s located in the Latin district which has great marketplaces and restaurants. Fun part of Madrid.

Overall good. It was confusing to enter the building. You need a key and no one was answering the buzzer. We had to call them directly and then they buzzed us up - no instructions around it before hand. Room was small, but clean with a private bathroom so it worked out well for us. Good staff and great location.

The AC didn’t work the first night so we slept in the heat. The owner made it up to us though. The room was clean and had a bathroom. The hotel is really close to a metro line and within walking distance to Puerta del Sol.

It was a cozy room, great location, & very friendly & helpful staff. The AC was great. My husband & I enjoyed our stay.

Excellent!

Staff was excellent. Bed was comfortable. Room had a few minor maintenance issues (this was only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars). Property is very clean and cared for. Would stay there again!

The staff is most helpful and kind. Check in wasn’t until 3 but they let me drop off my things when I made it into Madrid @1 so that I could get started with my day. When I came back they had my bags in my room and the day after when I checked out and still had to go to Santiago Bernabeu they kept my bags until I was ready to go from Madrid and onto Barcelona. Loved being able to get around with ease walking everywhere and to get to the metro. By day 2 I felt like I was home. Please get your room here! You will not be disappointed.

Great location and lovely accommodation. Not great sound insulation but it didn’t affect my sleep too much.

Staff was friendly! Clean

Positives: the front desk staff are LOVELY, and I can’t rate them highly enough. The basic single room was clean and comfortable and above the minimum standards I would expect for a budget place. The shower was good too, though no obvious way of switching from the hand-held to the overhead spray. Reliable WiFi. Negatives: the toilet is squeezed into such a tight corner next to the sink unit that I, a not particularly big person, didn’t have room to sit on it straight. There’s no shelf in the shower for shampoo etc, and nowhere obvious to hang wet towels. However by far the biggest negative is the noise. The sound-proofing between rooms is so bad that I could hear lively conversation at all hours of the night, as clearly as if they were in the same room. Thank heaven for noise-cancelling headphones, though it is not comfortable to sleep in them.

Rooms are small and lack facilities, but they are clean and the beds comfortable. Parking is a walk away and €29 for 24 hrs
