⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hotel El Castell – Barcelona Our stay at Hotel El Castell was fantastic! The ambiance is very pleasant, and the hotel’s location is excellent,everything is easily accessible and convenient. The overall experience was very, very good. The only issue we faced was with the free Wi-Fi, as the network kept disconnecting automatically. Apart from that, everything else was perfect. We really enjoyed our stay!

Everything was good except I could not use the internet properly in my room, I was here for conference and that was a big problem for me it was here for 3 days and I reported the problem but they just couldn't fix it.

The room was nothing like advertised, bed was small to the point that at 5'8 my feet were hanging off the bed not to mention it was hard as a rock, the fridge didnt work and the safe didnt even have a key. There was 0 sound proofing between rooms. You could hear the door to the elevator slam shut no matter what floor it was on throughout the night so we did not sleep at all. There was children screaming past midnight in the terrace area and the staff did nothing to quiet them down. We booked this hotel and splurged a bit as it was our last night in Barcelona and i regret not asking them to put us up at another hotel

First, property is very dated. Next, it has not been updated since probably the 1980s. Flooring was terrible in our room and we had a nasty dirty throw rug over the floor. When I took it up, because of fear of tripping the floor was in horrble condition. Rust in the shower and just overall worn and dirty hotel.

Desk staff man was very un-friendly and barely said 2 words. Safe nice neighborhood but at the top of a steep hill. Be prepared to hike down and up. Rooms are charming but not fully modern. No coffee pot but a cold fridge was included. Great views out of windows.

Beautiful location with wonderful views. It could use some renovation. Otherwise it was clean, big bathroom. No Airport shuttle, but only about 10 min from airport by taxi.

Room: very outdated, it was generally clean but some things were dirty. Staff: difficult to communicate with. The receptionist watched me sit at the tapas bar for a long time after I had said I wanted to go to the restaurant which was in a different place. Then the waiter in the restaurant spoke zero English, literally zero. He ended up bringing me something with meat in it even though I had tried to communicate I don’t eat it. Location: not at all central. It’s doable as the station is not very far away.
