This hotel is in the perfect location to visit the wall, the cathedral, and the main historic area. The staff were so friendly and helped us with anything we needed. Our room was very comfortable and I appreciated the great shower.

Keeping in mind that this is a small family run hotel in the Avila old town I am giving it my highest rating. This is not an international style 5 star, so don’t expect that. First the staff, some of which I presume are the owners, (José, Ricardo, Diego, Victor and one whose name I missed) were extremely helpful and friendly. It is clean, comfortable and quiet. The location is excellent, next to the Avila cathedral in the center of the old town. Everything is walking distance. Breakfast is European style, coffee , breads, cold cuts and cheese, very adequate for me, additional $. The restaurant has mixed reviews in google but my meal was very good and priced accordingly, no complaints. Nice wine list as well. There is WiFi which worked well, TV so-so but who’s here to watch tv? Parking is also additional $12 per night, but literally next door. Be advised that driving to the hotel is tricky. You will receive an email with detailed driving instructions. If you are good at following the instructions precisely you will arrive at the hotel parking. If you don’t, be prepared to drive around in circles for a while. So, in summary a good clean friendly place exceptionally well located with reasonable prices.. if I ever return I’ll stay her. Jerome.
