Hotel with a lot of history and character. Nice large rooms, beautiful grounds and common spaces. Hiking trails right outside the door, a short walk to the village. We would stay here again

Had a nice two night stay, everything went well, staff good, especially the very helpful lady on reception. The area is a bit of a quiet gem, with loads of quiet roads to explore and a quaint village in walking distance. The nearby Laredo was good too, and just a short drive. Highly recommended.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful location. Room was more like a suite! We stayed half board which we would recommend as there are not many other places to eat in the area. The food was delicious so glad we booked half board. We visited Santoña (anchovy capital of the world ) and Laredo, both close by, which were well worth the visit. Lovely, unspoilt area of northern Spain.

Great hotel in historical building and dominating location. Really nice reception staff and bar and restaurant staff were even better. As residents we were able to access some of the restricted spaces

We chose to stay at the Parador De Limpias as it has a good reputation and is only 40 mins drive from the Port of Santander. Unfortunately delays with our ferry started to make us concerned that we would arrive too late for an evening meal. However, when we contacted the Parador De Limpias from the ferry the staff proved to be very accommodating and put our minds at rest. They said that should the restaurant be closed when we arrived, they would make sure that there would be plates of cold food in our room. As it turned out we arrived at 10:00pm and had an excellent meal in the restaurant, which closed at 11:00pm. The Parador De Limpias is well appointed with all the facilities that you would expect from a quality hotel and is located in an interesting part of Spain. So 5 stars for the hotel and, of course, 5 stars for the staff.
