We stayed here for three nights in June 2026. This parador is on a hill overlooking the city so we are a captive audience for food but we have great views and easy parking. Check in was wonderfully helpful - Ada was fabulous and should be sent to Cuenca to train some of the front desk staff there how to actually engage with customers. Our room was another huge space, overlooking the pool and terrace. We met up at the café in the Parador for a light dinner, consisting of beef tenderloin and chips, which was a lot fattier than I expected so I ended up leaving a lot of it. We did make up for that by having four desserts though. After our light (!) dinner we went onto the main terrace to look at the view over the city, a magnificent medieval time capsule, mostly enclosed by the river Tagus. I slept until 6:30 and then got up to watch the sunrise. The hotel was totally deserted and even when I went back to the room at about 7:15 I hadn't seen anyone. I did watch lots of rabbits playing on the damp grass though. After another spectacular breakfast we took a taxi to the cathedral in the city. Taxi's were around 10 euro each way and far easier than trying to navigate the maze of streets and find somewhere to park. Overall the Parador was wonderful, fantastic views, lovely rooms and good staff. It would be nice if the cafe had some more basic quick eats options but that's really my only criticism.

Fantastic hotel, beautifully located to take advantage of the best views over Toledo. Friendly and helpful receptionist, with best advice on taxis and best approach to visiting the city. Nice comfortable room overlooking the garden and pool. Very nice pool, with complimentary towels and comfortable loungers. Good breakfast, served efficiently. Great terrace with nice bar snacks and a very decent Rioja!

The Toledo Parador is excellent - the staff are charming and the views over Toledo are breathtaking . Our room was clean and the breakfasts were tasty. Despite giving the Parador 5 stars for everything, we had one quibble which was worth no stars! - the precise location of our room. We stayed in room 423 - which is approached via an open corridor balcony overlooking the reception area. Our own room balcony (facing Toledo) was above the hotel cafeteria. As a result, there was constant noise and chatter from the cafeteria all day, particularly from the cafeteria patio one floor below our balcony. And to make matters worse, late night revellers, returning to the hotel at 2am, would talk loudly at reception which immediately woke us up. We have no hesitation in recommending the wonderful Toledo Parador but, if you have a choice, do NOT stay in room 423!!

The property is beautiful and the view amazing. The front desk staff are not very nice and do not seem that interested in making the stay pleasant. There is only decaf Nescafé in the room and no possibility of getting coffee before 8am which is a problem if you have an early departure. The hotel was clean but hey could use new side rugs by the bed — all a little worn

The best thing about the hotel is definitely the view of Toledo. The free parking is a bonus but it’s a bit too far to walk into the city. The room was nice but we were disappointed with the food at dinner and the service at breakfast and dinner was very haphazard

Views are immaculate, great service, and decent hotel food. One thing to note, it’s quite a walk and no side walks on part of the journey to the center town. If you are planning to bring a car it won’t be an issue or you don’t mind walking 2-3 miles to get to the center town or you don’t mind paying for taxis.

Breathtaking views of Toledo from my room's balcony. Some of the best water pressure in a shower I've found in Western Europe. Friendly and helpful staff. The only disappointing note was, sadly, the dinner service, of which I had heard great things. The food was fine, but not outstanding. Service was spotty in the dining room. Hopefully, we just caught them on a bad night. Still, this is the place to stay if you visit Toledo.
