Great hotel in a fantastic position in Stockholm - walkable to everything including the central station when we arrived. Breakfast was very good and the rooms were excellent - comfy, high end bedding and quiet. We booked to use the rooftop pool and had a lovely afternoon there. We would have gone to the rooftop bar for evening cocktails (which looked lovely) but wanted to sit outside as the weather was so good. Our only issue was that check in took 20 minutes, despite us being the only guests - the check in lady was excruciatingly slow, couldn't find out details despite us showing the hotels.com confirms and didn't even apologise for keeping us waiting.

I absolutely loved walking into Downtown Camper - such a great vibe in the heart of the new part of Stockholm. It was only about a 10min walk to Gamla Stan and about the same to the central train station. The only part that was a challenge was the fact that they had no A/C… and our days were 28degrees. But they gave us a fan which at least moved the air around. They advertise a rooftop pool… which you have to pay to use and it closes at 3:30pm… which means no night views from the pool. I loved the outdoor feel and overall I’d highly recommend staying here!

I wouldnt stay here again. Listed as a family hotel but not particularly family friendly. Breakfast was a nightmare. Pool is not for under 16s. Things like the net area for sitting are actually only open 90 minutes a day. Acrually a lot of stuff if very restricted for opening times. No air con in the room.
That said the staff are all very nice bar the bar staff that worked on the Sunday night who were very abrupt.

Room was in the basement, knew it was without window, so that’s on me. But it was excessively damp and moist. The vent over the bed was leaking, so the bed was soaked in the middle of the night. Overall poor experience.

The property is very nice and in a convenient location. It’s quite large. The breakfast was incredible! I’m only taking off one star because we had selected a room with no window. Granted this was our own choice. When I booked it didn’t seem like a bad idea since we didn’t plan to hang out in our room and we’d save some money, but we realized the value of having a window and light in the room. Other than that, no complaints. Just advising future travelers that they may not want to make that same choice.

Great location, the staff were helpful, the room - a large double - wasa great size. Close to the central station and many places to eat.
only tiny negatives - the lighting levels were quite low and there was no hotel parking or discounts in the local car parks. I would stay here again without a second thought

When I booked this facility, I asked that breakfast be included. I was charged nearly $800 by the hotel for breakfast (for our two rooms). Also, I chose this hotel because it had a pool for my granddaughters. After we checked in, we went to look at the pool, and were told that only those 16 and over could use the pool, and that there was an extra charge. The facility was beautiful, but it was heartbreaking that the girls didn't have access to the pool that was promised (which was, to them, going to be a highlight of our trip). Also, we asked to have our rooms cleaned only every other day, and they did the bare minimum...removing trash and leaving clean towels.

This was a great central base for exploring Stockholm. Great transport links but most things we did were walkable from the hotel. Also super easy to get to from the airport. The team working there were really friendly and welcoming. Rooms were lovely and cosy. Especially liked being able to sit and look out the window in the room. The array of activities arrange by the hotel was also nice. Especially enjoyed toasting marshmallows in the evening!

We loved the location of this hotel and the entire ambience. They really captured the “I-know-I’m-in-Stockholm-but-I-also-love-camping” vibe! It also amazingly has a lovely campfire aroma throughout the downstairs. Super easy to walk to Gamla Stan from here. We also loved the coffee shop that was just around the corner called Wayne’s.
