We absolutely loved our stay at the downtown camper. The hotel room was very comfortable for a family of four, especially with kids a little too old to be sharing a bed. The hotel itself had a very cozy environment with fun spaces like the bar and attached coffee shop. The location was very walkable to near by attractions. Definitely would recommend!

Great hotel with lots of stuff going on, negatives the rooms are a little dark and like so many hotels nowadays they don't make the lighting obvious, breakfast can be busy but they do warn you .. it does have plenty of choice. Beds are comfy and the room has plenty of space. Staff are friendly and helpful and the location is great. Probably a good hotel for those with kids in late teens who want activities or if you're a runner, hiker or kyaker while we're not we found the cocktail bar exceptional which made up!

Fint hotel centralt i Stockholm både når man kommer med tog fra Arlanda lufthavn og skal ud og se central Stockholm. På hotels.com oplyste de dog ikke, at swimmingpool ikke er indeholdt i prisen men afregnes seperat. Så det var eneste dårlige bemærkning i forhold til vores ophold

Kæmpe morgenmads buffet med alt man kan tænke sig.
Værelset lidt kedeligt, det var mørkt indrettet og der kom ikke meget lys ind af vinduet, da det er ret tæt bebygget. Smal seng. Pænt og rent. Reception, restaurant og lounge område i top.

Skulle ha städning av rommet. Det ble kún skiftet håndduker,ikke redd seng og tatt ut skitne kopper etc,eller lagt inn til kaffe/te på rommet. Ellers var det et flott hotell,med god frokost:)

Bra hotell som ligger perfekt i närheten till allt! Shopping, mat och turism.
Dubbelrum large var toppen.
Några minus för att glasen på rummet var smutsiga vid ankomst samt att det var väldigt lyhört. Både mot korridoren och ut mot fontänen på torget.

Rigtig fine værelser meget centralt og super venligt personale.
Det eneste minus er at der ikke er tilknyttet nogen parkering
Og så synes jeg heller ikke deres aftenmenu i restauranten var særlig god
Men der er en del parkeringshuse i området der koster en hel del og så er der jo masser af andre spisesteder i området

I wouldnt stay here again. Listed as a family hotel but not particularly family friendly. Breakfast was a nightmare. Pool is not for under 16s. Things like the net area for sitting are actually only open 90 minutes a day. Acrually a lot of stuff if very restricted for opening times. No air con in the room.
That said the staff are all very nice bar the bar staff that worked on the Sunday night who were very abrupt.

Great hotel in a fantastic position in Stockholm - walkable to everything including the central station when we arrived. Breakfast was very good and the rooms were excellent - comfy, high end bedding and quiet. We booked to use the rooftop pool and had a lovely afternoon there. We would have gone to the rooftop bar for evening cocktails (which looked lovely) but wanted to sit outside as the weather was so good. Our only issue was that check in took 20 minutes, despite us being the only guests - the check in lady was excruciatingly slow, couldn't find out details despite us showing the hotels.com confirms and didn't even apologise for keeping us waiting.

I absolutely loved walking into Downtown Camper - such a great vibe in the heart of the new part of Stockholm. It was only about a 10min walk to Gamla Stan and about the same to the central train station. The only part that was a challenge was the fact that they had no A/C… and our days were 28degrees. But they gave us a fan which at least moved the air around. They advertise a rooftop pool… which you have to pay to use and it closes at 3:30pm… which means no night views from the pool. I loved the outdoor feel and overall I’d highly recommend staying here!

Overall the hotel was great, but when booking through hotels.com it is not clear that access to pool cost extra and not for children under 16. Which was a bit unfortunate, since the main reason for us selecting the hotel was pool access.
In the end, hotel rooms where excellent and staff helpful.

Room was in the basement, knew it was without window, so that’s on me. But it was excessively damp and moist. The vent over the bed was leaking, so the bed was soaked in the middle of the night. Overall poor experience.
