Super friendly staff and great spacious room. Very good if you have a family. Area was close to the lake and very quiet. Will definitely return.

Charming place, but location tricky without a car The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully furnished with a comfortable bed. The kitchenette was very handy. Breakfast delivered to the room was a thoughtful touch with fresh, quality products. The manager was very friendly and helpful and the historic building has real character. The peaceful setting is beautiful. However, without a car, the location felt quite isolated. It's a bit far to walk to restaurants or shops, and public transport options are limited. Still a charming place with excellent accommodation quality - just come prepared with transportation or plan to stay put and enjoy the tranquil setting!

We loved this place for a short stay at the end of our holiday visiting friends in Rolle. A large, spacious bedroom/dining/kitchen combo for a family of five. And an excellent and generous breakfast delivered to our door each day. Only suitable if you have a car. If we haven’t been visiting friends, we’d have loved to eat a meal in the secluded and leafy courtyard - clearly a popular venue for local people.

Amazing stay and staff! Kenzie was especially gracious and helpful at check in. The restaurant is wonderful and the breakfast tray delivered to our room was a great amenity. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We would definitely return.

This hotel was amazing. Had two bathrooms and so much space. The area was quiet and beautiful out in the country. The breakfast that was included was amazing and brought right to your room. The restaurant in the hotel was great as well and the staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and stay there again in the future.

We had a pleasant two night stay at Auberge des Grands Bois. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. It could have benefited from air conditioning but there was a Dyson Air Fan available and fortunately the weather was not too warm. The staff were friendly and breakfast was delivered to the room. The venue was very convenient both to Lausanne and Geneva and there was ample parking at the hotel. We had a meal at the restaurant which was very good but we were in the courtyard and it began to rain. We were fine as we had an umbrella directly above the table. Other customers were not as fortunate. It is not cheap to visit Switzerland but charging 5 francs for a bottle of water from the mini bar after a long journey on the first night was rather a distraction especially as we had left a complimentary bottle of water ( received with the breakfast) in the fridge. These are petty issues and does not take away from the fact that the hotel gives good quality care in a sought after tourist area.

A very attractive and modern set of three apartments with a large outside area to relax and to dine in. It has a pleasant view over a meadow with a local traditional house to the side. There was a wonderful vegetable garden on the other side. Everything was spotless. A breakfast was delivered to the door in the morning on a covered tray. On the downside, being in a European heatwave meant that the temperature in the bedroom upstairs was at 29c during the night. A fan moved the warm air round but with no effect on cooling. We can’t complain as we knew what to expect. Surprisingly no towels were provided but perhaps that’s typical for the area. We had a ghastly second night, however, after eating leftover pizza from the previous evening’s visit to the hotel restaurant. We both came down with severe vomiting sickness that lasted all night leaving us very weak in the morning. We were still feeling the after effects two full days later. We took away leftover pizza in boxes as we don’t like wasting food, and as it was suggested by the affable restaurant manager who recommended a larger size for this purpose. Perhaps it’s not advisable in the middle of a heatwave. Just order one pizza to be shared between the two of you and then you might be able to manage a delicious desert afterwards or just don’t order too big a plateful in the first place.

Beautiful suite

This is a lovely country resort with an excellent in-house restaurant. The”to go” breakfast was amazing. It would have been helpful to know there isn’t hot water.

Endroit un peu en retrait mais près des services, studio très propre et beaucoup d'espace. Le petit déjeuner à la porte et très délicieux.

Nice area away from the big city

Great place, and very conveniently located to drive around Lausanne and the surrounding locations. The food and service were excellent. One of the TVs in our apartment did not work, and couldn’t be repaired in time. But it wasn’t a big deal when compared to the other positives.

Superb property in a gorgeous location. Breakfast deliverd to your door, wonderful. The restaurant on the property is first class, but there are plenty of alternatives nearby. Room was spacious, comfortable and very very clean.
