Weekend in famiglia. Albergo piacevole e pulito ma lo staff poco presente. Stanza grande e con un angolo cucina utilizzabile. Colazione internazionale e abbondante.

Très bonne expérience , je recommande l'établissement. Le personnel est accueillant et à l'écoute. L'endroit est au calme , l'auberge est excellent. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et en chambre.

We had a pleasant two night stay at Auberge des Grands Bois. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. It could have benefited from air conditioning but there was a Dyson Air Fan available and fortunately the weather was not too warm. The staff were friendly and breakfast was delivered to the room. The venue was very convenient both to Lausanne and Geneva and there was ample parking at the hotel. We had a meal at the restaurant which was very good but we were in the courtyard and it began to rain. We were fine as we had an umbrella directly above the table. Other customers were not as fortunate. It is not cheap to visit Switzerland but charging 5 francs for a bottle of water from the mini bar after a long journey on the first night was rather a distraction especially as we had left a complimentary bottle of water ( received with the breakfast) in the fridge. These are petty issues and does not take away from the fact that the hotel gives good quality care in a sought after tourist area.

A very attractive and modern set of three apartments with a large outside area to relax and to dine in. It has a pleasant view over a meadow with a local traditional house to the side. There was a wonderful vegetable garden on the other side. Everything was spotless. A breakfast was delivered to the door in the morning on a covered tray. On the downside, being in a European heatwave meant that the temperature in the bedroom upstairs was at 29c during the night. A fan moved the warm air round but with no effect on cooling. We can’t complain as we knew what to expect. Surprisingly no towels were provided but perhaps that’s typical for the area. We had a ghastly second night, however, after eating leftover pizza from the previous evening’s visit to the hotel restaurant. We both came down with severe vomiting sickness that lasted all night leaving us very weak in the morning. We were still feeling the after effects two full days later. We took away leftover pizza in boxes as we don’t like wasting food, and as it was suggested by the affable restaurant manager who recommended a larger size for this purpose. Perhaps it’s not advisable in the middle of a heatwave. Just order one pizza to be shared between the two of you and then you might be able to manage a delicious desert afterwards or just don’t order too big a plateful in the first place.

Hyggeligt lille hotel. Check-in var eget ansvar og ingen hjælp. Der var varmt og eftersom dee ikke var aircondition var der absurd varmt. Restaurant tilknyttet hotel bør undgås. Dårlig behandling fra tjener og der var cigaretrøg over alt. Jeg ville aldrig besøge restaurant igen. Morgenmad var kedelig. Hyggelig lokation.

Wir waren drei Nächte in diesem Hotel mit unseren beiden kleinen Kindern. Parkplätze standen kostenlos vor dem Gebäude zur Verfügung. Der Zustand der Zimmer war sehr gut mit zwei neuen Badezimmern. Frühstück wurde auf einem kleinen Tisch vor das Zimmer serviert, wobei die Qualität der Speisen eher unterdurchschnittlich war (Croissants einmal verbrannt, Industrie-Marmelade / Honig, Supermarkt-Käsesticks). Das Hotel liegt etwas außerhalb, hat aber einen schönen Blick über den Genfer See. Insgesamt empfehlenswert.

Da die Rezeption unverständlicher Weise leider nicht besetzt war, haben wir das falsche Zimmer erhalten. Das Zimmer war schlecht gereinigt, es befand sich noch sehr viel Schmutz vom vorherigen Gast im Zimmer. Das als „Liebevoller Frühstückskorb“ beschriebene Frühstück zum mitnehmen entpuppte sich in 2 harten Brötchen und 2 kleinen alten Croissants, 2 Sorten Wurst (Supermarkt), 2 Stückchen Butter, 2 Fruchtjoghurt, 2 Äpfel/Orangen. 2 Fl. Wasser/Saft. Das WLAN war auch sehr schlecht und wir empfehlen diese Unterkunft nicht weiter!

This is a lovely country resort with an excellent in-house restaurant. The”to go” breakfast was amazing. It would have been helpful to know there isn’t hot water.

Wurde ganz spontan auf diese Unterkunft aufmerksam. Es hat alles gut funktioniert und wir konnten ohne Probleme das Zimmer beziehen. Die Lage ist gut, da dass Hotel gut von der Autobahn erreichbar ist. Es hat ausreichend Parkplätze falls man mit dem Auto unterwegs ist. Leider war das Restaurant geschlossen, in der Region hat es aber noch andere Möglichkeiten sich zu verpflegen.

Endroit un peu en retrait mais près des services, studio très propre et beaucoup d'espace. Le petit déjeuner à la porte et très délicieux.

Sympathisch, gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, schön gelegen
