Staying at Cascada was very impressive and left sweet memories for me and my family. The hotel is clean and the room is beautiful. What a great boutique hotel - we really enjoyed the hotel. The staff is super friendly and eager to please - everytjing we asked for was provided with service-oriented approach. The room was lovely and elegant, and the breakfast was diversified and tasty. Great hotel, and they deserve no less than 5 stars.

We have 2 rooms and 2 full baths, very spacious! Tourist spots are just a walk away and restaurants are everywhere. Water station located at the lobby with some candies and fresh appples you can grab. The hotel also provided us a bottle made of glass for water refill, quite helpful to keep us hydrated and save some bucks buying water worth 5 chf in some places. Brilliant idea! We had so much fun exploring the beautiful Luzern! 😊

Room was clean, but had a funny smell. I am wondering if a dog may have been in there prior to our stay the next day they did a very detailed cleaning and then it smelled much better and was not an issue. I loved the set up of the room for a family and the location is also overall great.

We loved our stay here. The AC was great since it was hot when we were there. The staff was kind and helpful. There is free still and sparkling water on tap in the lobby to refill water bottles and the beds were cozy and comfortable.

The air conditioner broke in the middle of a heat wave in the middle of the night. We called downstairs but we were only able to partially restore it after a lot of effort and waking everyone in the room up. The hotel obviously does not maintain the property as well as they could. They should not be charging the prices they do for rooms with no air conditioning. When we checked out, the staff don’t even ask us how our stay was. Some staff were friendly and helpful but others were definitely not. Also, one day the room was not cleaned even though the sign was hung on the door, I asked the maid in the hall, and I asked the front desk at noon and they assured me it would be cleaned. This hotel is definitely overrated on Expedia and overpriced. The room was very small and not quiet. Would not stay there again.

Around a 10 minute walk from the center of town and the train station. This is a well appointed hotel with a Swiss Alpine vibe. We had a lovely couple of days here and in Lucerne.

The hotel’s location is within walking distance from the train station. We were fortunate to be able to get into our room early (1pm instead of 3). We paid for a deluxe room and it was pretty small (it had room for 1 small chair). This hotel was the costliest of all the hotels we stayed in during our trip (Zürich, Interlaken and Bellaggio Lake Como). It cost us almost $600 USD per night and breakfast was not included. The à la carte breakfast was incredibly penurious. The croissants were minuscule and not served with butter or jam. The jam cost another 1 Swiss francs. Tap water had to be paid for too. The yoghurt served was small. We heard the onsite Spanish tapas restaurant was very good so we tried it. The seafood paella was not good and a couple of the mussels smelled bad. Frankly all of the food was mediocre at best and unappetizing at worst. FYI we spent 11 days in Madrid and Galicia Spain last year so we are well acquainted with excellent tapas and Bolero fell WAY SHORT. All in all we wouldn’t stay here again.

Nice, clean, basic hotel within a 5-minute walk from the Lucerne Train Station. The chapel bridge (Kapellbrücke) and riverside restaurants are within a 10-minute stroll from the hotel. Air conditioning worked fine as it was really necessary with the heat and humidity at the end of May.
