Clean room and very pretty, even though it was mid-October it still got hot in the room and there was no fan so we just kept the sliding door open a little bit throughout the night and that worked! We had a balcony and just barely a view of the Matterhorn which was awesome. Tv had lots of channel options in English. Our room was very cozy and comfy. The lady that worked the desk in the evening was great-she was the fire master, bartender, and helped guests at the desk, always making sure we were doing ok. The fire was so cozy after a long chilly day! All of the staff there were great and very helpful with anything we needed, from pickup/drop off from the train station, to any questions about recommendations! The only thing that came to mind that we felt awkward about was when we checked in we only had 1 hand towel and 1 washcloth in our room and when we had asked for one more of each, they made a comment saying that we should get ahold of house keeping but that they would get it this time. But we were never told how we go about doing so when we did not see a phone in the room anywhere. Not really a big deal, just felt like a bit of an inconvenience. Other than that our stay was wonderful!

Great hotel - close to the main street and all the relevant lifts but in a quieter area of town.
The breakfast was great and the staff were so always accomodating - assisting with plans and transport.

Wonderful breakfast. Comfortable rooms with a balcony. Obviously fairly recently renovated.
There is no air con in the Cosy Chic room, which wasn't too much of an issue despite being August but in a heatwave it may be.

I've been in so many great hotels in my life but this one is no doubt one of the best ones I've ever been! They were extremely kind with us. For my birthday they have prepared a table with a birthday card and decor and since we had to leave so early the next morning, they have prepared a bag with sandwiches, yogurt, fruits and drinks for the trip.
We recommend this property 100% if you want to guarantee comfort, great taste in thein interior design and most important AMAZING proactive, kind and friendly staff!

This is our favorite so far in all the hotel we stayed in Switzerland. The hotel is very chic and the room we got is really nice with a good view of Matterhorn. The room is modern and chic. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet has lots of choices in comparison to the last 3 hotels we’ve been in Switzerland. I will stay at this hotel again when I come back to Zermatt

We’d an amazing stay. The room was great. Staff super friendly and helpful. Breakfast each morning was really nice. When we checked out, we were dropped back to the train station. The whole experience was excellent and I’d highly recommend staying.

This hotel went beyond my expectations!! The "sky room" had the best view of the matterhorn with a balcony to enjoy it. The breakfast was wonderful with buffet And made to order options. Overall a very good stay. As previous commentators have noted, the breakfast is noteworthy.
With the owners and family living and active on site, this is a bed and breakfast and not a hotel. This may suit some guests but not all.
The rooms are well designed with a nice balcony and plenty of hanging space, though some may dislike the open bathroom arrangement. This is purely subjective.
The wellness area is of high quality with a good sauna, steam room and jacuzzi, though it can be busy during peak periods.
I would recommend this hotel for a short stay.

Would be great if the shuttle offered service to the ski lifts, but I don’t know if any hotels in Zermatt do that.

I can’t say enough great things about this hotel. The location is perfect. Close to everything in town and only a 10 minute walk to the Matterhorn gondola. The staff is amazing. They are very helpful and kind. The hotel is immaculate. The fireplace in the lobby is super cozy and provides a great spot for a cocktail before dinner. The breakfast was delicious and very plentiful. Our room was very comfortable and had a perfect view of the Matterhorn.
