We were in town for one evening to get a jump start to the top of Gornergrat. It was the perfect location. We had the most stunning view from our balcony. The bed was great. The bathroom was delightful and very clean. Loved everything about this charming hotel and town. Highly recommend.

Staffs were really attentive and trying to make everything comfortable. Location is perfect to enjoy Matterhorn in your room if you are booking with Mountain View. You don’t need to go to the view point to see Matterhorn. Lots of restaurants and stores in 5 mins walking distance.

Our friends had a nice comfortable room, but ours had a tiny bathroom that would only fit one at a time. We also had the elevator on the other side of the bed wall that we heard all night. The staff was friendly and helped us with transit and directions. It was clean and had a nice breakfast.

Great location- about an 8-10 minute walk to the Main Street, main train station and the Gornergrat station. About a 15 minute walk to the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise gondolas. The hotel has great views of the Matterhorn and right at the river walk. I highly recommend this hotel.

We had a wonderful 4 nights stay there. Our balcony facing Matterhorn. 7-8 minutes walk to train station. The Sunnegga bahn is like 6 minutes walk. The buses are free but we did’t take it. Saw the blackneck goats matching on the street was cool. Love Zermatt. Definitely want to come back. The dining room window facing Matterhorn. I al recommend this hotel to my friend

Aside from the friendliness of the staff, the thing I liked best about Hotel Parkas was the amazing view of the Matterhorn from my balcony! The room was bright, clean, and very pleasant. Although there was not a refrigerator in the room, there was a refrigerator in the room downstairs. The staff was extremely accommodating. The hotel was also near the train station and the numerous shops I the area. I would definitely recommend this hotel. It included breakfast and was a good value for the price.

This beautiful hotel is so walkable to all the transportation up into the mountains, tons of restaurant options, and shopping. It seems to be family run, and the service was exemplary. They went out their way to do simple extras like holding the door open for us when we had luggage. The free breakfast was fantastic, offering a large variety. Our balcony view of the Matterhorn was beautiful! We could also see the goats (and hear their bells) as they were paraded through town - so fun!
