Wellness Hotel Alpenhof

This hotel was absolutely amazing, wish we could have stayed longer. As our travel plans changed we could only stay one night. No one wanted to leave. Arrived late so unfortunately didn’t get to use the pool as it had already closed. But we did manage to have a very nice dinner. Our room was huge with a lovely balcony. Just loved all the little touches and sheep in the room. Very comfy bed. Our breakfast was included and we all enjoyed this. One of our friends is coeliac and they were able to offer lots of gluten free options. Would highly recommend staying at this hotel 10/10

I've never stayed at a 4* hotel so I might be oblivious to things that others consider "normal", but damn that was a nice room! One of the best breakfasts I've had at a hotel, great shower, spacy room, and air conditioned (seemed to be a luxury in Switzerland, maybe I'm just cheap). The hotel is also close to downtown and is 1 min away walk to an amazing view of the Matterhorn. I was also pleasantly surprised by an included can ride to the train station at checkout. Absolutely recommend this place to anyone, and maybe stay a couple days so you can enjoy the spa.

Top notch hotel in central Zermatt. Includes transfers to and from the station, which is something we didn’t appreciate until we left. That said, it’s only a 10 mins walk. We had the Alpine Chic room, which was just lovely - with a view of Matterhorn from the balcony. Wish we could have stayed longer. The best hotel so far on our travels across Switzerland.

This property was amazing! Clean room, spacious, free mini bar, breakfast included was AMAZING! Nice walk from the train station or you can call the hotel for a pickup in their little taxi. Close proximity to all of what Zermatt has to offer. We will definitely stay here again when visiting this charming town.

Great hotel, we got an upgrade and have a great time. Only an Indian guy from the restaurant a little bit unfriendly.

Proper stay with excellent spa. Would suggest irons/steamers as well as fans for people who like it cold

Amazing hotel! Had such a great time! The service is spectacular!

We had a second floor corner room with views of the town/river and a balcony. The room was modern and spacious. We also had a large bathroom with wonderful shower/bath. The storage was insane! On a ski holiday this is a must. The beds were extremely comfortable with high end linen. The only problem we had was getting our tv up and running but that’s because we just couldn’t work out how to work it. I’m sure if our kids were with us they could have figured it out instantly. The hotel itself is extremely tasteful. The spa/pool area is gorgeous and relaxing. The outdoor jacuzzi was heaven after a long day on the slopes. Breakfast was best we have ever had in a ski hotel. Turn down service was a plus, with a yummy chocolate each evening. I cannot fault this place. We have booked again

This hotel was excellent! The rooms were clean, updated but charming and had a gorgeous view of the Matterhorn from our balcony. All of the staff were very friendly and did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable…especially Ali! He makes the best espresso martinis! The food was also excellent! The spa amenities that are included in the stay are very nice and for 16+ include a hot tub, sauna and steam. It is a short walk to the main street and right across the street from the ski lift. We would definitely stay here again!
