We had a second floor corner room with views of the town/river and a balcony. The room was modern and spacious. We also had a large bathroom with wonderful shower/bath. The storage was insane! On a ski holiday this is a must. The beds were extremely comfortable with high end linen. The only problem we had was getting our tv up and running but that’s because we just couldn’t work out how to work it. I’m sure if our kids were with us they could have figured it out instantly. The hotel itself is extremely tasteful. The spa/pool area is gorgeous and relaxing. The outdoor jacuzzi was heaven after a long day on the slopes. Breakfast was best we have ever had in a ski hotel. Turn down service was a plus, with a yummy chocolate each evening. I cannot fault this place. We have booked again

This hotel was excellent! The rooms were clean, updated but charming and had a gorgeous view of the Matterhorn from our balcony. All of the staff were very friendly and did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable…especially Ali! He makes the best espresso martinis! The food was also excellent! The spa amenities that are included in the stay are very nice and for 16+ include a hot tub, sauna and steam. It is a short walk to the main street and right across the street from the ski lift. We would definitely stay here again!

Room was nice and staff was friendly and helpful. The only reason for a just okay rating is because the hotel allows dogs and the pet owners during our stay were very low class and rude. A dog in the lounge during Apres barking loudly for 20 minutes while the pianist was trying to play. Another dog in the dining room at dinner barking every time someone went by their table. Yet another dog barking in our hallway two different nights around 1:30 am. The staff did nothing to control any of this.

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at the Wellness Hotel Alpenhof while we were in Zermatt, Switzerland. The location of the hotel was very good, just a short walk to the train statin station, shops and restaurants. The staff was very helpful. Since we needed to check out at 5:45am to catch a 6:00am train they even had a bag of food for us to take with us. I would definitely stay here again

The lady that checked us out, not so much..she wasn’t very friendly and didn’t seem to want to be bothered.. the lady in the spa that did my massage and facial was wonderful and very personable. We loved the location of the hotel and the breakfast was really good with lots of choices… overall it was a good stay!

This is a wonderful place to stay for a ski trip! The massage treatments in the spa were excellent. The front desk moved a bit slowly and the sauna/steam room options for adults were limited. Would still recommend!
