We had a very comfortable stay at arTree hotel. Although slightly out of the centre of Taipei, it is a short walk to the MRT station and has a fantastic choice of casual eating options, as well as a small market nearby. The room was spotless, large, well equipped and even had complimentary drinks and snacks. Staff were very friendly and are around at all hours, so we were able to check out in the early hours for a morning flight. Would highly recommend.

Probably one of the coolest hotels which is like the "inside of a tree" that's pat of a giant rainforest, and each room is designed so uniquely that you're living in one of the branches - pretty freakin' cool. Would stay again especially since it's in the middle of downtown a decent walk or short drive away to Taipei 101 or Raohe street market.

Great Hotel located in local area where you can easily find lots of local food. The hotel is located above a market but not to worry as the entrance are on different side of the street. You can find nice delicious local fruits in the market. Most of the furnitures and design are based on concept of "Tree" which is unique.
The hotel room is spacious and I can see Taipei 101 from bathroom. Room is very clean and tidy.
One small feedback is that the towels had a little "smell" and could be from the laundry detergent. Will be perfect if the hotel can address this.
Breakfast selection and spread may not be wide but its decent for me and family.
Overall great experience and stay in arTree Hotel.

Enjoyed the stay in a spacious room with a stunning view from the bath. Only giving 4 stars as body lotion wasn’t provided and bathtub towel wasn’t provided after room service.
The tv remote wasn’t working properly but the staff were quick to assist and resolve.
Pros - close proximity to mrt, spacious room, quick service, washing line provided.
Cons - hotel slippers weren’t replaced daily like some of the other places I’ve stayed at. Body lotion and conditioner not provided. Other amenities (razor, shower cap) need to be purchased at an additional cost of NT$100.

The hotel is situated in a busy commercial/residential. The location is very convenient - eateries, coffee shop, convenience store, transportation, all conveniently close. The hotel lobby is on the 4th floor and it is a bit strange that there was a neighbourhood wet market beneath the hotel (on the ground floor, around the back) but it did not affect my use of the hotel. The hotel itself is tastefully decorated. Provided complimentary coffee, tea and drinks in the fridge. The room was large. Free-standing bath tub and separate shower. Japanese bidet. Very nice bed. All in all, very satisfactory. Staff was helpful.

I booked the deluxe double room and was pleased with the large spacious room. In addition to a shower, the room has a separate bathtub by the window. Hotel staff is very friendly. I was able to leave my luggage with the front desk after I checked out so that I could explore the city before my flight. The hotel breakfast buffet offers a good selection of local and western food. However, I found other places for Chinese breakfast (buns and soy milk) near the hotel. For those who enjoy exploring local cuisine, I do not recommend pre-paying for the hotel breakfast.

The room was big, modern, comfortable and well-equipped. Bed was comfortable. Complimentary tea, coffee, water and soft drinks provided. Staff was helpful and obliging. Convenience stores, restaurants, market nearby. So is not arena and a park. All round a pleasant stay.

This is rated as a 3 star but in my eyes it’s a 5 star . Better than many nice vegas hotels I’ve stayed in . The entire hotel has a very tranquil forest vibe , decor is beautiful everywhere . We stayed for 5 nights and the staff was incredibly thoughtful , helpful. The doorman was helping us catch taxis . The maid was very considerate .The location is prime , open produce market nearby , food court right on the side of the building . All kinds of convenience stores , well known eats nearby. A couple blocks away from a major metro station . The room itself was filled with the best amenities , drinks and snacks for free .a nespresso machine. A fridge — many nice vegas hotels are missing this and charging for hot water so the fact that this hotel can provide all of that in such a paradise of a place is amazing . I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough .this was my first time staying at a hotel in Taiwan and I couldn’t have been more satisfied
** the only thing I can say is that the hot springs is not free , it’s a spa type service you have to pay for

It’s a few minutes drive from the airport. There are restaurants and convenient stores right outside the hotel. The hotel room is very roomy, clean, and modern. The mini bar is also free.
