Beimen Wow Poshtel - Hostel

Terrible customer service. Weird lady came knocking on my door as I was on my way to checkout. Even after I left my keys at the front desk she continued to follow me outside. Do they know how to train their staff for professional behavior and etiquette here?

Front desk is very friendly and accommodating.

One of the best hostels. Convenient to transportation, easy to find, spacious kitchen and lounge, small but clean bathroom. Also there is an elevator. The air conditioning really works. I highly recommend it and would stay there again.

We liked the location, the private double room had everything you needed, air con, fridge, hairdryer, hangers. It was good value for money. However, the WiFi was patchy, guests were disrespectful of the “quiet hours” and were loud through the night in their rooms, rather than using the common area. The property could do with some deep cleaning, but besides that it was good.

There is like one normal chair in the whole place that everyone will fight for to use so they can play on their computer like a regular person.

The accommodation had everything I needed, a place to sleep, lockers with a lock, and a kitchen/living room area with free tea, and a fridge to store food. The women's sleeping area also had a bathroom and shower inside of the room, meaning I didn't need to go outside to use it. The staff were also extremely helpful, even coming with me to the local laundromat to show me how to correctly use it. The only cons were that the mattress is a bit hard, so if you are a sensitive sleeper, you should take this into account. But overall, it had everything I needed, and for the price, it was super great.

My room on the bottom floor did not have a window so it felt like a bit of a cave. Something to take into account when you ok this place.

Everything was good. Nice property and good location.

It's neither good nor bad.

Inexpensive stay and the staff were very friendly. I had a box spring instead of a matess and the walls were not even a little bit sound proof.

Hostel room was clean. Not too far from the Taipei Main Station. About 5 mins walk.

Central location.

My friend and I stayed here in mixed dormitory for 4 days. Looking for its location wasn’t hard as it was just straight from the Y13 access of the Main Station. When we got there, the hostel didn’t look quite so appealing. But when we got in, we were in awe they could design a quaint place like that. The dormitory, however, was a bit small for 6 different sized people/foreigners to go around in. Also, their wash area kept on running out of tissue paper. Breakfast served was fine if you enjoy light meals in the morning since they offer breads, spreads, and ham & eggs. Sadly though, being a coffee lover that I am, their coffee machine was unavailable. But they have different types of tea, if you prefer that offer coffee. The pantry area felt home since you cook your own food and prep them yourself. It’s also a nice place to socialize with other guests of the hostel. The staff was friendly and helpful especially Gina and another girl who we forgot to get the name of. They speak and understand English, so communication was easy.
