Central Hotel

Cleanliness was overall okay although there was a spotting of a cockroach and mosquitos were present at some nights. Outside the window there was plenty of cigarette butts. Room service has to be asked for. I opted it out. Since I travelled around Xmas the room was *very* cold! There is no heater in the room so I was quite freezing even with a jacket on always. I had to ask for an extra blanket to freeze less at night. The staff do NOT speak English (although ad says they do). So get by with Google Translate if needed. Check-in was via machine and had some little unclarity but fixed by staff with support from local guests. Best thing with this place is definitely its location with short walking distances to all basic needs. Would be enough to stay for a night or two. Btw for those who are noise sensitive; the rooms at least appear to be sound proof cos you can't really hear any sounds from neighbors. However, the outer door isn't sound proof and do let noticeable sounds through once people pass there. Most guests and housekeeping folks aren't having lengthy conferences in the corridors though.

Convenient location and clean room. Pillows kinda too soft even when stack two pillows for use. Will be better if there is water dispenser in lobby area for guests to fill water, instead of requesting for bottles water periodically.

The room was pretty big and the bed was comfortable. Tge staff was great and went out of their way to help me or answer questions. The hotel was conveniently licated near the train station and near shopping. Great overall experience.

整體不錯 衛浴冷水直接會變熱水 另外一間有螞蟻 但睡起來蠻舒服的。

Nice bed and comfortable

For a 2 star budget hotel, it is clean which is important. For a one night stayover, it is convenient due to its central location.

The property is clean , very convenient for shopping and the food is awesome & cheap.

The receptionist auntie very impolite. The hotel gt restrict the room temperature, the lowest temperature is 21'c. Maybe I go during summer, the room is very hot and stuffy during day time. I told the auntie but she replied me impolitely that their aircon is like tat. Ask me wait until night then room will be cooling.

the hotel is good

Room was basic and small however was clean and quite well appointed considering the low price charged. Hotel is 35 minutes to Taipei airport (expect to pay approximately 600 - 700TWD) by metered taxi in quiet times. Overall an excellent stopover hotel if you need somewhere clean and modern. Very good value for money.

Very nice hotel. Very quite, clean and comfy. Only few of their staff can’t speak english but it’s totally ok.

The first time i went it was ok apart from the door lock was broken but the second time the room smelled so bad of mold it was very strong smell asked to be moved and they said they could not move us

The hotel staff were mediocre-- had a hard time communicating in English, though we were able to communicate getting a cab set up for the morning of departure with a room service call, and the cab was early which was great. The hotel advertises "luggage locker" or whatever it may be that might perceptibly be a storage of some sort, but it was just our bags in the corner under security camera while the staff member at the time seemed to be more interested in her phone than the safety of our luggage. Regardless, we came back, and they were still in the very same spot almost 7hrs later. Room was nice and bed was comfortable, clean bathroom, but wi-fi was meh.

The lights are dim in the room and i found clumps of hair on the floor and some stuck to the mat outside the bathroom. overall still ok if you are not particular...

Good location. Hotel no breakfast provided. Need to go to the nearby railway station for breakfast.

We checked in for 3 nights stay in triple room, 3 adults with a little one. The room given was not thoroughly cleaned.. a needle found on floor. Cups in room can still see coffee stain. Only one room access card given at first, till we went to ask for extra card. Toilet is bit smelly as the air ventilation is not very good. Can be very noisy when someone uses the bathroom or walk by the corridor Overall it's still ok to stay as the hotel is near train station. Lots of food and convenient stores nearby too. Not suitable for those who drives as it does not provide parking space No breakfast provided too.

The location is great, just 3 min walk to 24 hours food stall! Lot of shop just in front this hotel!
