City Place Hotel

Clean room, walkable to a lot of major sights. Lots of restaurants in walking distance. Room is clean and with good a/c.

Staff was very courteous and the luggage storage service was convenient for us who arrived in the city earlier than check-in time. Room was very clean but quite small. Beds were comfy but the pillows offer zero support (they go flat once you lay on them). Location was very convenient with lots of food options available!

Staff are great, very helpful. Plenty of parking spaces behind the hotel... EXCEPT that there are a few tight corners you have to turn before you get to the parking lots. If you are driving a standard car, NO problem. I had a big SUV... that took me a bit of an effort. Otherwise, it's fine !! Plenty of restaurants to choose from. There's a very nice and cosy lounge on Ground Floor that you can use. Coffee machine, Milo drinks, Chinese tea... the LOT !!

We had an excellent stay here on our first ever trip to Tainan. The hotel is very centrally located, the room was clean, comfortable with standard amenities. The staff were very helpful, professional, and welcoming. We would absolutely recommend staying here to our family and friends. Thank you City Place Hotel team!

The staff were very polite and friendly. The hotel has a very nice dining area for guests to use. Complimentary coffee, tea and hot chocolate are available. When the room is cleaned, staff provide bottled water and a small snack, which is a nice touch. We were not disturbed by traffic.sound in the room, which is a huge plus. Our room had a large shower and bathroom area

We appreciated the convenient location and friendly staff during our stay. The room was generally clean and comfortable. However, we encountered some issues with the plumbing — the sink and shower drains were clogged, causing water to overflow when washing hands or showering, which was quite unpleasant. Additionally, there was a strong smell of cleaning products inside the room and a strange odor in the hallway outside. We hope the hotel can improve maintenance of the plumbing and ventilation to enhance the overall guest experience.

Amazing and friendly staff, the moment we walked in. Limited supplies of snacks and coffee, but it absolutely does the job if and whenever you need some caffeine. The room has everything you need, and again, it supplied us with the comfort we needed on our two-day trip to Tainan. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel for people who just want a really good-priced place to stay and explore the town :)

Staff super customer oriented. They provided all necessary help to get my document air expressed. They demonstrated professionalism and dedication.

The facility is a bit old and kind of smelly. Staff is friendly and nice.

Nice and clean with parking lot. Close to Tainan train station and overall very convenient and comfortable. The only thing I would say is that they don’t have hair dryer and depending on where the location is, the room may not be as quiet as wanted. Can hear noise from the hallway.

The hotel is located in the older part of town. But that makes it very central and convenient. The staff was wonderfully accommodating, polite and helpful. The room was modern, clean and tidy. There are loads of dining options near the hotel and sights are within walking distance or easily accessible by public transportation. The hotel also has bikes for guests to borrow, although we didn't have a chance to use them (and probably wouldn't have because the traffic is a little too busy).

The hotel is clean and quiet. Free coffee and tea are available all the time. Staff ate nice and friendly. Room is simple and comfortable. Some city’s landmarks and attractions are in short walking distance.

Overall is good within this price range.

I like that they put and refill a small pack of local snack inside the room.

The room was big enough and comfortable, with a nice view on the main road but very quiet. Clean and tidy and really enjoyable. The staff was friendly and professional, thank you.

床單很乾淨，因為皮膚有點敏感，住飯店常會覺得床單讓人發癢，但文悅床單很乾淨，整體住宿環境也乾淨，這點很讚👍。 但是隔音超差，樓上洗澡、沖馬桶都能身歷其境的聽到水流在牆壁裡流動，隔壁關門聲也足以讓你清醒。 洗澡洗一半時，熱水水流變超級小，小到覺得會沖不乾淨還一度轉冷水洗，大概持續五到十分鐘又恢復正常，應該是有別的房間一起用熱水不夠。 如果你的樓上或旁邊沒住人還是很推薦的，畢竟他便宜又乾淨。
