Room was clean and the staff were excellent as usual

The room is basic and serves all the needs of a solo traveller; location also relatively convenient, and staff very friendly and helpful

Air conditioning did not work properly. Cannot set desired A/C temperature thru control panel. Air circulation within the suite was bad.

The hotel is conveniently located near the mall, a lot of bus stops nearby and train station. Easy access to anywhere you need to go. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is spacious and clean. Never had a problem. I will always recommend people here and I will choose this hotel again next time I go

Everything about my stay at this hotel was perfect. The room was cleaned and cared for everyday. I am used to room cleaning every 3-7 days. I had a great experience. The staff from the desk to the person cleaning the room were very professional. The hotel was very close to the metro so getting around the city was very easy.

It was very convenient place to stay and to move around the city.

Badly lit and gloomy room up several small flights of stairs even after getting off the elevator. Strange noises and screams at 2am aren't something that the hotel can be blamed for but didn't help. Location is very good and room was clean, but air conditioning was terrible - always 5 degrees higher than set and was often uncomfortable.

The room is clean. But is alittle small. There is one room for shower and one room for toilet. The sink is actually by the door.

City Suites scores very highly for location. It’s in Datong District, only about a 5- to 7-minute walk from Beimen MRT station. It’s also reasonably close to Taipei Main Station. There are convenience stores (like 7-Eleven) nearby, and plenty of restaurants & cafés within walking distance. The rooms are modern, clean, and generally well maintained, but no windows. I find the mattress was a bit firmer than what I was expecting but it was fine. No strong sound insulation, you can hear people from the next room. Room was rather specious so if you travel with a large suitcase that is the place. Check in was smooth and Staff is helpful! Housekeeping is generally good but noticed quite some bit of dust behind the tv and beneath the bed so I had the impression these areas are not cleaned much! in conclusion is a solid choice if you’re staying in Taipei for a few nights and want somewhere reasonable clean, central, and convenient. It gives you good access to transport and local amenities, making it easy to explore. If you’re okay with compact rooms and aren’t expecting luxury extras, you’ll likely be satisfied.

The room is beautiful and clean, and it’s very close to the MRT station. Toothbrush and toothpaste are not provided, so you need to bring your own. The soundproofing at night is not very good, as noises from neighbors opening and closing doors and talking in the hallway can be heard inside the room. The bed is very soft, but it wasn’t suitable for me.

Stood at this hotel for a week. Great location that’s probably the main benefit in my opinion, it’s located very close to Taipei main station. The staff was really helpful and I enjoyed my room. Only negative I could think of were some scuffs on the wall by my bed and my lamp seemed to be kinda loose in the wall. Neither are deal breakers for me. There are no amenities like a pool or gym that I noticed so just a heads up if you need or want that. If you’re planning to spend all day out the room and experiencing the city I feel like this is exactly the place. I would definitely stay again and recommend.

This hotel is a walking distance to Beimen and Taipei Main Station. It is also very convenient that a 7-11 is just next door to this hotel. Overall, we love this hotel and will for sure come back on our next Taiwan vacation.

They have issue with accounting my prior stay was paid in advance and they put $197 on my charge card & Im still waiting for it to drop off

Excellent hotel in every way

Location, staff, big room for one
