We had a wonderful stay. The hotel remains excellent, though naturally, it shows just a touch more age than when we last visited 20 years ago. The breakfast buffet is outstanding, particularly if you enjoy exploring a wide variety of dishes. We booked a family suite, which was fantastic. The only drawback was the air conditioning in the main bedroom. It developed an irregular, loud rattle. It was quiet at first, then clanking for a few minutes before settling again for about twenty minutes. We only noticed it on our last night, as we hadn’t needed it before then. A little frustrating, but understandable; if the hotel isn’t aware of it, they can’t fix it. Hopefully, it’s resolved before the next guests arrive. Would I return? Absolutely. Would I recommend it? Without hesitation.

This was an amazing experience from the moment we entered the building. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. The food at the restaurants were outstanding and the views of the rooftop bar where breathtaking!

I loved staying at this hotel. After a long flight, we stepped out ot the taxi to the warmest welcome from the staff who made us feel like VIP's from the start. We were given arrival drinks and cold face towels to cool and refresh ourselves. The room was spotless and luxurious and the bed was the comfiest I've had in a hotel. I wanted to take my pillow with me! We ate at Vertigo on our first night which was expensive but worth it as it was my husband's 60th birthday. Again, the service was perfect. The door staff were also very friendly and helpful, even haggling with a taxi driver on our behalf ensure we didn't pay over the going rate. I highly recommend the Banyan Tree to anyone, it was a very special experience I will always remember.

We booked our stay last minute and it was simply wonderful. The rooms are spacious, the pool is delightful and so refreshing after a hot day sightseeing around the city. The concierge staff we so helpful and provided excellent recommendations.

The checking was took so long even I have already checked in through what’s up they sent the link for pre check in. And at night around 11:30pm, the bathroom starts leaking water from the roof and all of my stuff inside the bathroom are wet and dirty. If you want I can send you the video. It was like water fall leaking from the roof and carpet got wet too.
