This is a lovely place to stay. If we come to this area again, we will for sure book here again. As others have said, the ladies running it are as lovely as can be. And yes, they really will wash your clothes.
Breakfast was great. Eggs any way you want them. Toast and pastries. And tons of fruit. Mangos, watermelon, pineapple, and a couple more. It will for sure fill you.
The the hotel is an old Thai style. The stairs are too steep. But you won't care. The things that matter are all there. A very comfortable mattress, clean bathroom, and large rooms. Water pressure can be low in prime time. But can be cured by adjusting your shower time a little earlier or later. Bathrooms are large.
Whatever little small faults it may have, you won't care at all, because of the loveliness of the ladies running it. And they took us to the bus stop after checking out without us asking. Directed us to the right massage. And a good scooter rental.
If you book, I'm sure that you will want to return also.

Older, retired single traveler from the USA in Khao Lak for 2 weeks. Good location for shopping, eating, beaches and massages. Good value for the money, but the true value here is the staff and their willingness to help in any way possible. Breakfast is an amazing assortment of fruit, eggs, breads and yogurt with muesli. Big, clean, comfortable rooms with good WiFi (a bit on the dark side for us older travelers but when I mentioned this the staff provided an additional lamp for a dark corner). A large comfortable bed, but the chairs could use some felt pad sliders to prevent the sound of moving chairs above and below rooms. Free laundry provided which is helpful for longer stays. A lot of stairs so if mobility issues are a problem this might not be the place for you. Daily cleaning and towels. Awesome experience and I would do it again!

Kai and her team go out of their way to ensure you have an enjoyable holiday, nothing is too much trouble. The hotel rooms are clean and cosy and everything works, housekeeping is daily with fresh towels and bedding changed regularly. Laundry is free and Kai will also take you to local beaches including coconut beach which was our favourite, she will also lend you a motorcycle. The breakfast is good with eggs, cheese and nice bread and lots of fresh fruit. This is a budget hotel, but with all the added extras very good value indeed.

My husband and I stayed here for 6 nights further to the glowing reviews we’d read.
I can attest that Kai is the loveliest and most welcoming host and works super hard on her business and providing a top notch service. After business being bad throughout the pandemic, Kai said she was so happy to be busy again and it’s clear from the energy in the hotel and the warmth and happiness that radiates from her. She’s also a font of all local knowledge and we asked her recommendations and advice a number of times.
The location of the hotel is perfect. The square it’s located on has a lovely buzz and we enjoyed drinks and food there on a few occasions. If I was travelling on my own then I would feel so safe here and not too isolated.
Our room was beautiful - sparkly clean and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We moved from our 2nd floor room to a 1st floor room halfway through our stay and loved the double aspect/balconies. One balcony had a beautiful view of the surrounding greenery - the night time and morning sounds were very soothing.
Breakfast was delicious; eggs any way (or muesli, yogurt & fruit) and then help yourself to toast and, at times, pastries. Once you finish, Kai then brings out the most generous assortment of fresh fruit. The perfect way to set yourself up for the day.
On top of all this, Kai also offers a free laundry service for her guests. She’s literally superwoman!!
Suffice to say, we would stay back here in a heartbeat.

Casacool is dollar for dollar one of the Best Buy’s in Thailand! Kai, the owner and operator, is a joy to be around and is extremely attentive to her guests. She was like our adopted Thai mom! We couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

Our stay at Casacool was really great. We were greeted with wet hand towels and fresh juice. Our room was ready upon arrival and it was clean, plus stocked with water. The location was also great- probably about a 7min ride into the main town, but also near a lot of shops, restaurants and a market.

The kindness of Gai and Kae along with naam will never be forgotten Gai drove us to the beach and picked us up also took my wife and i to the chemist breakfast was delicious. Gai is a wonderful host and i wish her all the best for the future. The property is located next to bars and restaurants.

I stayed here for three weeks and was blown away by how much the staff especially Kai the owner helped me with a couple of problems! Nothing is too much trouble and so incredibly friendly! I would recommend this hotel to anyone and if I go back I will definitely stay there again!

The owner of the hotel was extremely friendly, cheerful and helpful. We asked about a last-minute car hire and she drove us all the way to the Budget car hire shop! When we returned to pick up our luggage afterwards, she hugged us and gave us oranges for the journey. I was very impressed by her hospitality and would definitely return to stay there if I'm in Khao Lak.
This place also serves a great and hearty breakfast, you will get good choices of cereals, juices, fruits and a cooked breakfast! Fantastic value.
Only downside is that there is no lift, so it might be problematic if you have lots of luggage and you are staying on the top floor.

When we got to the hotel, there were no rooms available but we were sent to a sister hotel - Asiana Hotel - which was great!! Very personal service. All the staff were great, especially Jam! The breakfast was excellent every day!! We got a free dinner at Jam's restaurant which was delicious. I would definitely stay there again.
Casacool hotel looked good and the staff were very friendly and attentive - she came to see us at the Asiana Hotel to wish us Happy New Year.

We chose Casacool Hotel because of exceptional online reviews, it didn't disappoint. Central location in town but only minutes walk from sandy beach. Rooms very practical & clean, breakfast ample and refreshing (variety of exotic fruits). Owner and proprietor Kai very helpful on all matters including recommending excursions. Ton Chong Fa Waterfall in local national park is only half an hour away, but a beautifully maintained pristine environment. Highly recommend Khaolak if you want to get away from big city hustle and bustle.
