There are many cheap and delicious food stalls around the hotel, with a durian vendor selling in front of Sevel every night. There are two Sevels nearby, and there's also a coin-operated laundry nearby. It's close to the pier, so you only need to take a boat to Pratunam. The bus stop is also nearby. It's quite far from the city, but it's not in a congested area. I really enjoyed staying at the Baron Hotel.
