Very VERY FAR from beach, piers, or airport in Surat Thani. Located in a small industrial part of town w little to no traveler amenities (ie scooters, pools, massage parlors). Staff really did not speak/understand any English (though were helpful and smiley) and neither did anyone nearby. Very utilitarian but very clean and comfortable in room. Would recommend going straight to islands of choice from the airport rather than spend a night in Surat Thani town.
