We loved our stay at Tubtim, so much that we stayed an extra 2 nights. We had previously stayed at Wong Duen beach and also explored other bays on the island by scooter/walking, but this was by far our favourite. We had a garden view fan room, which was lovely and suited our needs. We saw amazing birds around the grounds including hornbills and drongos.
The prices for food and drink, including in the shop, were a bit higher than other areas, but when you factor in that everything has to be brought by boat the additional cost is to be expected.
The included breakfast was delicious and well above what we expected, with lots of choice and great quality. The onsite bar and restaurant were also lovely.
I would stay here again without hesitation.

When it comes to Koh Samed, the location of your accommodations can make or break your visit...
Tubtim has by far the best proximity to the beautiful beach as any resort on the island!
The cabins feel bigger than the photos portray..
The breakfast spread is great...
The staff is kind and attentive...
For the price, this is THE value steal of the island.

A little rustic but perfectly suitable for our needs. The surrounding areas could be cleaner but the resort itself is great. The beach is great. The rooms are more like cabins and we enjoyed it. The rooms were clean. The breakfast was great as well. We would recommend it.

TubTim is always our "go-to" place for Koh Samed. It has a wonderful beach with shallow, clean, warm water. The view is terrific, especially from the "N" class bungalows, and the staff are excellent. This is a terrific "value for price" property on Koh Samed; one that we return to often.

The room was simply decorated, basic but with all necessities including a small fridge (already stocked with water) and very clean. Comfortable bed. Be mindful to book a room with Aircon as rooms are also available with fan only (it's hot!). Staff are friendly and helpful, I didn't actually eat here just had coffee at breakfast time and it's a lovely area to sit and contemplate your day ahead!

In summary, was average in the low. of i return to the area, i would try another hotel rather this one. There are one standing thing: the restaurant habe a good taste. we tasted several dishes and they were good (green curry with shrimp was my favorite),unfortunately, the service was poor... they were not rude, but they never were attending the table after taking the order... The bungalow was disappointing, bad mattraces, one AC was not working but it was fixed afyer we reported it. internet was mostly out if you are out of your room. Taking a taxi to downtown is pricy (relatively speaking)

TubTim is a property that never disappoints! It is wonderfully relaxing, on a quiet, warm-water bay, with super helpful and friendly staff, and a wide variety of dining options. It is an easy walk down the beach to excellent dining options and local nightlife. It is out "go to" place when traveling to Koh Samet!
