Everything was wonderful from the cleanliness of the hotel, to the spacious room and especially the staff who were so sweet. Definitely will be back!

Great location. Close to Downtown Charleston area.

The room was clean, bed was comfortable. Staff was super friendly and always eager to help. Breakfast was delicious.

The personal at the front desk, dining facility and others were the kindest and accommodating that we have encountered in our world travels. We are now old and each and every one we meet went above and beyond to assist us. Wonderfuly unbelievable. R&R Sarasota Fl

Front desk customer service was exceptional

The staff was very hard working and friendly. They are the hotel’s best asset. Breakfast was good. The bathroom in our room was very outdated and worn.

The room was clean and felt clean, but the room fan never goes off and is loud. The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. No dining within walking distance. Only Taco Bell.

I requested a handicap room at booking. Called the hotel directly to make sure the room had a walk in shower. I was assured they did. We found once there that they the room did NOT have a walk in shower. I requested a mat for the slippery tub floor, and was told to just put some towels down in it. There were no instructions for the tv, and though I am pretty tech savvy, I never could figure out how to get it to tv from internet. Front desk offered a maintenance call at 8pm, but at that point, it wasn't worth it. The buffet breakfast was a bonus-not just yogurt and cereal. While the constructions supposedly knew, there was some mold/mildew in the bathroom, and some long dark hairs on the various bathroom fixtures. (Neither of us has long nor dark hair). Otherwise, it was convenient to what we needed. Parking was very limited, and the garage across the street was not suitable for handicapped access -- too far.

The room was fine but the shower was awful. There was no water pressure and even when off the showerhead leaked all night long.

This was a quick overnight to Charleston and I am happy with the choice we made in selecting the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Charleston Dwtn. Nice size property. Room was huge and spacious! Would have liked more parking spots but they do allow you to park in a garage across the street. Either way you have to pay which I prefer free parking. The bathroom could have used some better cleaning but I would still choose to stay here again. Staff was friendly and the included breakfast was perfect.

Safe and very well located place .

We visited from New York to visit the beach. The staff was amazing. Friendly and beyond accommodating. The room had some easy maintainable wear and tear especially in the bathroom. The TV also stopped working . My only other complaint was the abundant dog feces around the property because no bags were available. The breakfast was great and had a very wide variety. Coffee served all day was a nice perk as well.

Friendly courteous, great stay.

We had problems with the tv and after calling twice, someone finally came by 2 hours later. By then we were all in bed. I gave that 1 star. Otherwise the staff was very friendly.

Great breakfast

The hotel cheated. When I booked the hotel, I paid three day parking. When checking in, I told the receptionist about it and received parking permit. But when I checked out, they charged me three days of parking again. I pointed out the issue to the receptionist, the receptionist wait he would make the correction and printed out the final invoice which showing the wrong charge was voided. When I asked when I would receive the refund, I was told one day later. Now, many days have passed, I still have not received anything. Since I didn’t authorize the charge, I filed disburse with the credit card. This a cheating business behavior. Here, I highly suggest any customer who plan to stay at the hotel, carefully review your bill to make sure you are not charged twice when you check out.
