Holiday Inn Express SAN DIEGO SEAWORLD-BEACH AREA, an IHG Hotel

Beds were very comfortable, the only bad thing which is a very important thing is the bathrooms were filthy, there was dried to stuck to the floor and tubs are black from feet marks and my sisters room had long black hair and she is short haired blond… the price was great and very nice people.

Great location and room very clean

the carpets in the elevator were kinda matted down with dark material. The hotel in general had a musty odor that smelled like old hotel. The rooms were small, but adequate for 2 people--but would have been tight for 4 people (we had a 2 queen-sized bed room). The amenities were good for the level of hotel and the price was right. the location was excellent--very easy access to either the N or S I-5 and to Mission Bay. Times to other places were short and so you easily and quickly get to places--the zoo, restaurants, beach, La Jolla, Old Town, etc., The area around the property was commercial (car dealerships, small restaurants--a Rubio's was just on the other side of the parking lot.

Stay here for four nights, had no issues. The building itself is older and a little run down but it’s clean and the staff are excellent. Breakfast was way better than I expected!! Parking was also included and that was a huge selling point for me. Will come back next time I’m visiting!

They could have better options

The breakfast options that were included were very good, plenty of hot choices, not just cereal and bread. Also nice to have a small frig and microwave in the room. The pool was very small, but warm. We checked it out but didn't actually use it.

Dirty and stained sheets.

Hallway, air condition was coming off the wall therefore it was not working

Was disappointed thought it would be better especially near the beach the hotel it seems like the he hotel is getting old needs to be rebuilt

Bathrooms are very small. Hard to close door behind you. Room was small and could only open one large suitcase at a time.The breakfast was same both nights we stayed and was not refreshed during the breakfast hours. Rooms could be up be updated but overall it was a decent stay and convenient for my family of 4.

Friendly and helpful staff.

Inn was close to public transportation. Staff were kind and came with good breakfast. Great amenities but couldn’t connect to WiFi on my computer and shower was hard to use. Took time to figure out how to set temperature of water for shower but overall good. Will use this Inn again if go to San Diego

The breakfast had lots of choices. The room was clean and comfortable.

Good value for the price.
