Overall, I'd say this hotel was average. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and did what I needed it to do, and the front desk staff were friendly and welcoming.
The biggest downside was the room location. I was on the third floor, but there wasn't an elevator to my section. Getting to my room meant going up stairs, through a long hallway, down more stairs, and through another door. With luggage, it was frustrating, and I couldn't help but wonder how an elderly guest or someone with mobility issues would manage.
The hotel is definitely showing its age. There was visible damage in the hallways, worn carpets, and peeling wallpaper. None of it ruined my stay, but it does make the property feel overdue for some updates.
I paid about $255 for one night, which felt expensive for what was ultimately an average hotel. That said, I also knew Kelowna prices were high when I booked, and it was still one of the more affordable options available.
Would I stay here again? If the price was right, probably. I wouldn't discourage others from staying here, but I'd describe it as an average hotel with friendly staff that could really benefit from renovations and better accessibility.
