Great location. Excellent breakfast

This property is in a great location. The rooms are “basic” but clean and comfortable. We have stayed here in the past and we will likely stay here again. Great value!

The hotel has a great location, but unfortunately, our room was very old and not well-maintained. When we arrived, our bathroom had a bad smell, and the toilet had always-running water. We told the people at reception, and it was never fixed. My bath towel had a hole, and the next day I got a new towel, but it also had a hole in it. The room cleaning service consisted of just making your bed. Every day when we came back to the hotel, the bathroom was still the same, and they left a beer glass for 3 days... On my first day, I had no Kleenex (tissues), and they never replaced the empty box. Besides the great location, I will not recommend this hotel unless you are in your 20's and you don't mind these kinds of things. Mind you, this is supposed to be a 4-star hotel...

Helpful staff

Great location near metro, tram, buses etc… Nice restaurants and stores nearby. Very walkable and safe area. Hotel has nice lobby, rooms are quite large and comfortable. Air in room was good. Beds were okay and housekeeping was perfect. Good shower and fridge. Lots of storage space. We were not in a renovated room. The safe was new (had been replaced) but was installed very high up. Needed a chair to get to it. Not practical. The carpet on the floor did not feel clean. Breakfast was very good and fresh but was lacking fruits. Only apples, oranges and kiwi with a few bananas at the occasion. Would of liked to have melon, grapes, strawberries and small fruit. Staff was polite but not helpful. When we first arrived, although we were staying for 9 nights and it was very early morning when we arrived from Canada after two long flights we were offered luggage accomodations only. We had to wait until mid afternoon to get to our room and felt no consideration on their part, although I am a senior with a son with special needs and have a VIP status with expedia. Overall, I would recommend it because of location and quality of room/breakfast.

‘New’ cosy room was very dated and tired. Don’t be fooled by a courtyard view, these rooms look onto other bedroom windows, it felt claustrophobic and dark. I felt priority was given to group bookings over independent travellers. On the plus side the beds were comfortable and the water pressure was surprisingly good considering the very small and basic shower head. Location was central.

First let me say this is a fantastic location and great value for the price we paid. The hotel is adjacent to the Opera House and walking distance to mass transit, St Stephens Basilica, Dohany Synagogue and plenty of cute shops and restaurants in the area. The hotel is spotless. We didn't have the buffet breakfast but did pick up drinks at a small bar in an area off the lobby. The front desk arranged an early morning airport transfer for us, takes about half an hour to airport. While the hotel is clean and the staff was great, dont expect luxury here. No fluffy towels or silky sheets, just the basics. Fine for overnight but I wouldn't love it for an extended stay.

Nice hotel, at very good location and lovely staff.

This was my third stay here. My first stay was great - everything was fabulous. My second stay was good, but not as good as the first. This stay was an even lesser experience. I likely won’t return. The room seemed dated; one of the nights was extremely noisy; the breakfast buffet was just ok. There are lots of very good hotels out there; K&K used to be one; not so any more.

Spacious bedroom, confy bed, attentious staff, and great location. Price was also good for the area. Quality of breakfast could be greatly improved.

Great location with well-appointed rooms and friendly staff. This is our second time at this hotel and we have not been disappointed.

No way is this a 4* hotel! The first night of our stay, our room had no AC. When I tried to call the desk, the phone in the room didn’t work. After going down to the desk to complain, a staff person was sent up to assess the situation. After his expert evaluation, we were told that the AC wasn’t working and he could open a window after I signed a waiver. They had no other room for us. Our compensation for the major inconvenience was complimentary breakfast in the morning. In addition, the room was tiny and in need of immediate updating and there were no amenities.

Great location, helpful youthful staff, good value

Check in fue muy bueno. La primera habitación, pequeña, cama muy vieja, baño chico. Solicitamos up grade en habitación y fue un gran cambio: en espacio, en calidad de cama, tamaño de baño. Habitaciones insonorizadas, buen aire acondicionado. Excelente ubicación

I had a disappointing and somewhat unsafe experience during my stay. The shower floor was extremely slippery, which caused me to fall twice. I requested a shower mat from the front desk on two separate occasions, and each time I was told someone would bring it, but it never arrived. This lack of follow-through was frustrating and concerning, especially given the safety risk. On a more positive note, the breakfast was acceptable, but the options were limited and not very healthy. Overall, the lack of response from staff regarding a basic safety request significantly impacted my stay. I hope the hotel improves both its responsiveness and guest safety measures.
