It's a beautifully restored older building, & staff are very friendly & helpful. Looks very modern & stylish now. Would have no problem staying there again, but they did have a few maintenance issues they need to address. First our room door lock did not work well. It took multiple attempts for the electronic key card to unlock it to get into the room every time. Secondly the water pressure was quite low. Thirdly the mattress was a bit hard, so a bit uncomfortable.

Fantastic location, great for pickups on trips, secure. The hotel itself was modern, and the rooftop bar is a real treat. Breakfast was excellent and we were really disappointed to miss it on the second day due to an early collection. Big room, nice soaps. We got a bit of noise from the Aircon fans but earplugs masked this fine

A quiet and stylish retreat from the surrounding bustle. The hotel was comfortable and offered good (though somewhat limited) services. It’s in the midst of a busy and somewhat chaotic section of San Jose, but it manages to offer relaxation and calm. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. The room TV did not offer any streaming options, only cable TV. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Elegant hotel in the middle of the city. Location was perfect. Breakfast was delicious. Restaurant was very good. The rooftop bar/restaurant was an experience!

Cool public spaces. Rooftop restaurant and bar is super convenient, quality, and delightful atmosphere. Service was excellent - very friendly and competent. And the location is fantastic for walking and exploring San Jose. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel was great, Breakfast was delicious and employees were extremely polite and friendly! The rooftop restaurant was very good ! I had the best risotto ever!We didn't like San Jose center !

The room was fine, and the location was great, but the staff was cold compared to other places we stayed, and it felt like they were being intentionally unhelpful. Room service was not available (multiple dead ends on phone calls) and the airport shuttle was 3x the cost of an Uber. Breakfast, however, was very good, and considering the location, it all probably worked out fine.

Hotel was cool. Breakfast was good. Rental car was stored in a safe parking lot. Room was very comfortable. Excellent stay. The neighborhood didn’t feel very safe, in general. Especially at night.

Staff was efficient and extremely friendly. Room was renovated and spotless. Breakfast buffet had many delicious choices and location of hotel is excellent for exploring the old city centre.

The hotel is extremely clean and well-maintained with secure parking. The meal we had at the restaurant Azotea was phenomenal. Breakfast was more European-style than typical Costa Rican fare, but generous, delicious, and beautifully prepared. Gracious and attentive staff, we really enjoyed our stay.
