Should have automatic access to sauna and spa given it’s a spa hotel only access is if you have a treatment for 30 mins and if over they charge you on top of having already paid for a premium treatment

Beautiful hotel. We stayed in a suite with a private pool which was excellent. Amazing views out to spinalonga. Lovely restaurants within the resort. Elounda and plaka within short walking distance.

Private beach is a hidden gem, facilities are all spotless, staff are very attentive and friendly, food quality is very nice and great selection across all restaurants

Good hotel but excavation / construction happening just behind the villas in October 2025

The hotel has a beautiful structure. The room was big and clean, but needs some refreshing. The shower was very small and water was going everywhere. We had a private pool but it was not heated and felt too cold as there was no sun in the afternoon. The gym was clean but was not well equipped especially for people targeting weight lifting. The big pool was heated and nice. The private beach was lovely and idilyc with separate areas for kids and adults only. Cooktails and food were extremely expensive and we could see people were avoiding to consume because of that. Night entertainment is poor and it's a pity that the beach bar closes at 6pm. It would be great if the beach bar was open during the night and if prices were more reasonable. The food in the buffet is average. I wouldn't take the half board option again. Even if there were many families with small kids it didn't feel crowded. The hotel has potential to be much better than it is with some improvements.

The best staff ever, they are all SO kind. Truly, we would never forget the people that we met there. And the room was very nice, really nice beach , amazing gym! Good variety of restaurants. Love our private village

This place has the best beach in the area by far and great service all around. There is a kiosk on their private beach where you can get a ride to Spinalonga Island. It's super convenient, fast and if you have at least 2 people it's the same price as the big, crowded boats out of Plaka or Elounda and it's private so you can come and go as you wish. If you have 4 people (we shared rhe ride with another couple) it's the same price as the big boats. Food and service at Makris and Blend is really super great but otherwise the main buffet restaurant is good but not incredible. Our king room with a private pool was very spacious and comfortable. Check out and check in was easy and the staff was wonderful. We also enjoyed the spa very much! Lots of kids/families so it can be active/loud but they try to set aside spaces for adults as best they can. I still think it's better than an adults only resort mainly for the great beach. It is sooo nice compared to any other one we visitied. There is really no reason to leave. Amazing views of the island from here, too.

Amazing stay. We had a wonderful time as a family with a 3 year old. The beach area was great, lots of beds, shade, calm water and areas for older kids to fish. Great pool area with shaded shallow kids pool. Entertainment shows for kids and music performances as well. Large rooms, lovely bathroom amenities and cot/sofa bed options for kids. Breakfast & dinner buffet was very good quality and variety. Staff everywhere were great and friendly. On site restaurants were of really high quality and some lovely Greek wines on the menu. Is set on a hill so lots of hills but golf buggies can take you around. Area around hotel is quiet and lovely villages of Plaka & Elounda a few mins drive

Outstanding facility, services, views, beauty, etc etc.

Domes was an excellent family holiday destination. Firstly the staff were all incredible, they really couldn't do more for us. The Villa we had, with a pool, was spacious and lovely. The restaurants on site were fantastic, the beach was great, with excellent Watersport options and a short 5 min boat ride to Spinalonga. A short walk to the gorgeous Plaka was a great plus, with its shops, restaurants and beautiful coves to enjoy a dip in. A drink at Isla's followed by a snorkel in the sea. Overall a wonderful stay, highly recommended.

Excellent Place

Staff, food, rooms, view and beach were all great for my family and our stay!

We visited Domes of Elounda with our 8 month old baby and from the moment we arrived it was amazing. It's so peaceful and serene, the pools are heated and the perfect temperature for a baby and the sea was crystal clear and so inviting. Every member of staff went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay, and they were all amazing with my daughter. It was our first time travelling with a baby and we felt so welcome. There was a cot and high chair in our room when we arrived and high chairs and cutlery/plates/bowls for kids at every restaurant. 10/10 would recommend!

Really lovely resort and perfect for kids. Staff are so attentive and go out of their way to make you feel welcome and looked after. Will definitely be going back.

Our stay at Domes of Elounda was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding—warm, attentive, and genuinely focused on making every moment of our stay perfect. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcomed and well cared for. The beach was absolutely stunning—crystal clear waters, soft sand, and a peaceful, private atmosphere that made it feel like our own little slice of paradise. We spent hours lounging and swimming, enjoying the incredible views and calm sea. The food was a true highlight. Every meal was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of authentic Cretan and international flavours. Whether it was the breakfast buffet or the à la carte dinners, everything we tried was delicious. The variety and quality were consistently impressive. The accommodations were immaculate. Our suite was spacious, modern, and very well-maintained, with thoughtful touches that made our stay even more comfortable. Housekeeping did a fantastic job keeping everything spotless throughout our visit. Overall, Domes of Elounda exceeded every expectation. It’s a perfect mix of luxury, relaxation, and top-notch service. We can’t wait to return!

Amazing stay!!

Stunning location with wonderful staff and service. The beach is tranquil with fantastic views of Spinalonga and the perfect place to relax. All of the staff go out of their way to help you have the perfect holiday. Only feedback would be to bring your own or buy tennis balls if you play as the balls from the hotel either get taken / lost ... with the balls left being too bad to play. Also... we did a photo shoot with the inhouse photographer... which was amazing! Her shop is downstairs in the basement and very easy to miss if you dont happen to go to the spa! Would be lovely to have this advertised! Otherwise... the PERFECT holiday. Massive thank you to all of the staff.

We were given an inaccessible room with many, many stairs and outdated furniture, and it was nothing like the room shown in the photos when we made the reservation. We approached the reception to change the room, but every day they told us it was “under review,” and they didn’t manage to move us to another room, claiming the hotel was fully booked. This was extremely upsetting because this was not the room we had booked. The standard was much lower, and on top of that, it was completely inaccessible, with many, many stairs. We clearly noted in the reservation that we were arriving with two babies and a stroller, and they completely ignored that. It made things very difficult for us and was very upsetting that they didn’t take it into consideration. I do not recommend this hotel.
