The staff were lovely, really welcoming and helpful. We had an issue with our first room allocation, it smelled like cigarette smoke, the staff at the front desk swapped us to a different room with no issues at all. The second room was great. I think the hotel is showing a few signs of age, chips and wearing on woodwork, but over all looks good. The wellness facilities are a nice touch, it was a nice way to wind down after a stressful day of travel. The breakfast was exceptional. Really very good. Huge variety of a high quality options, even gluten free breads and cereals which came as a welcome surprise to my gluten intolerant partner. Different milk options too. I couldn't fault it.

We had a great stay at the SANA Berlin Hotel and loved our room. The balcony was a highlight, and I would definitely recommend requesting a room with one. Our check-in experience was excellent thanks to Farzan, who was super nice and helpful and got us settled in easily. We added breakfast to our stay and it was great. I would absolutely get it again. The hotel's location was fantastic, close to everything we wanted to do. We did not end up using the pool or sauna, but we looked at them, and it was great that the hotel offered those amenities. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it.

Lovely clean modern hotel, very good location for public transport, very helpful and friendly staff. We used two connecting rooms for a family of four, but I understand they have apartment options too. Good indoor spa and pool facilities. EXCELLENT Breakfast. Overall nothing to complain about.

A fantastic hotel, with a fabulous breakfast. SANA Berlin provided a calm space to relax in after busy days sightseeing in Berlin. We also had two very spacious interconnecting rooms, sold as a family room. Perfect for us and our teenagers. Great transport options close to the hotel and it was easy transfer to and from the airport. We would happily stay again.

Excellent property. The staff were very attentive. Room service was exceptional. Know that you scan your room key for services. That wasn't explained to us at check in.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The hotel room was really neat and fancy. Staff were kind. The breakfast was great. Nearby places to eat out as well. Has an indoor pool and sauna with a small gym room.

Set in one of the quieter parts of the city yet 5 minutes stroll from the best shopping Berlin has to offer. Close to underground stations for easy transport the Sana is a smart modern hotel with excellent facilities, spacious, well equipped rooms and beautiful reception and bar. Very helpful staff and a free welcome drink and pastries in the room on arrival was a nice touch.

I enjoyed a fantastic day at SANA Berlin Hotel. My room was comfortable and spacious, modern and clean. The staff were all superstars. They were very friendly and very accommodating to my requests. I cannot thank them enough. Finally, the hotel is perfectly located. Easy to reach by public transport, and within walking distance to High Street shops and restaurants I would not hesitate to stay here again.

The breakfast was great and the room was clean. I was considered “vip” due to Expedia status so I received 20 percent off food and wine and a free drink. It would’ve been nice to be told that this actually does not count for the breakfast and that the free drink must be wine or beer. Not a big deal but it would’ve been nice to hear it before getting breakfast and ordering a mojito and being told no twice in a row. Otherwise lovely hotel and would return in an instant. I am disappointed with my recent stay at SANA Berlin Hotel, especially as I had a positive experience last year. The standard has clearly declined. On arrival, the apartment smelled of cigarette smoke, which is unacceptable in a non-smoking environment. Cleanliness was poor throughout , the dining table had visible marks from previous guests, and the headboard in the main bedroom had obvious spill stains, suggesting it had not been properly cleaned. Most concerning, the dishcloth by the sink was heavily stained brown, which is unhygienic and made the space feel dirty. There were also maintenance issues. The towel rail above the bath was skewed and appeared to be pulling out of the wall, giving a neglected and unsafe impression. Service was equally disappointing. For a week-long stay, I expected slippers and a robe to be provided as advertised without asking, particularly to use the pool facilities. By the second morning, when nothing had been provided, I had to request slippers and a robe myself, which should not be necessary. Overall, the apartment felt unclean and poorly maintained. This was a stark contrast to my previous stay and reflects a clear decline in standards.
