This hotel is currently being renovated. According to the desk clerk, it is in preparation for changing to a Best Western.
Pictures are removed and piled in the area for the ice machine.
Patching is all over the walls.
We stayed on the second floor. There is a terrible smell in the hallway. Luckily it does not go into the room. As it was there in the afternoon and next morning, I don't think that it is because of someone cooking in their room.
The bed was fine. Lighting was extremely dim.
We weren't able to get TV until the desk clerk came to the room and set it up. With their set up, every time a guest checks out, the connection to the wifi for the TV is terminated. She told me the instructions should be in a drawer in the room (why would I check a drawer for instructions on the TV?!?) but later said she does have to go to most rooms to sign into a different wifi than the room, one that is meant just for Telus tv. Anyway, what a pain for guests and the hotel.
Breakfast was odd. Bacon, sausage, cold hash browns. But no eggs.
Perhaps consider this hotel when renovations are complete and the name change has occurred but, right now, I would chose a different hotel.
