Great location and excellent service. You can actually breathe in the rooms and this helped greatly with the altitude. Breakfast was amazing. Rooms were huge and super quiet. Highly recommend to stay here. Marco at breakfast in the restaurant had impeccable service and Manuel on the door was super helpful and friendly. Your motel is a stand out for service. We also stayed at the Novotel in Cusco, don’t bother. They should send their staff to you to get training. Excellent stay at the Wyndham!!!

The hotel has a beautiful entrance and a charming central courtyard, and the location is excellent—it’s within walking distance of many attractions in Cusco. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended for me. The service throughout my stay was disappointing. Several staff members came across as unfriendly and rude, particularly in the restaurant. I also felt uncomfortable because I had the impression I was being watched or checked on frequently, which made me feel more like I was being treated with suspicion than welcomed as a guest. The room was very outdated. The furniture, fixtures, and overall condition felt old and in need of renovation. The breakfast was another letdown. Many of the hot dishes were excessively salty, making the meal difficult to enjoy. The biggest concern, however, was finding a bug that looked like a small scorpion crawling on my bed. Regardless of exactly what it was, discovering it in the room was unsettling and significantly affected my confidence in the hotel’s housekeeping. I also found it frustrating that the hotel advertises 24-hour room service, but when I called one evening because I was sick, I was told the kitchen was closed. That was especially disappointing because I was relying on that service. Overall, while the location and courtyard are lovely, the poor service, outdated rooms, disappointing food, and cleanliness concerns mean I would not choose to stay here again.

Nice staff, there is unlikely any early check-in available but can store luggage. Breakfast end times vary based on the weekday versus weekend. Breakfast was so/so. Room was spacious for 3 people. Courtyard was great to hang out at. Overall, a pleasant stay!!

Formerly a Viscount's residence, the photogenic Costa Del Sol Cusco sits in a great location, walkably close to the center of a beautiful city. Meals in the hotel restaurant and at the breakfast buffet were fantastic. Staff were very helpful. Our room had uncomfortably overstuffed pillows that might have been designed by the Spanish Inquisition, so thick they threaten to break your neck. In fairness, my body was getting used to the thin air in Cusco and that also played a role in my restless night. The bathroom exhaust fan rattled noisily, but the air conditioner's rattle was far worse, indicating a low standard of maintenance, which was surprising for a hotel of this caliber. Local attractions: We hiked around an amazing Incan ruin called SAQSAYWAMAN, elevation 12,139 feet (3701 meters), and later, back in Cusco (elevation 11,150 feet) my wife suffered a severe bout of altitude sickness. With the dry air, maybe dehydration also factored in, but suddenly at dinner she was hammered hard when a massive headache and multiple attacks of nausea struck. I have three suggestions to help you avoid altitude sickness: 1) don't fly to Cusco directly from Lima. First visit Arequipa at around 7000 feet so your body can gradually acclimate to Andes' elevations, especially if you live near sea level as we do; 2) you can buy little bottles of oxygen at any pharmacy, and those really help when you're struggling for breath; and 3) they sell altitude sickness drugs at every pharmacy.

I can’t say enough great thing about this hotel. The location is perfect. The hotel is clean and beautiful. The staff is ever present and always kind and helpful. I would stay here again.

This is a beautiful property that makes you feel like you’re staying on a unique boutique hotel bit with all the amenities and comforts of a Wyndham hotel. The staff was the friendliest and most helpful staff I have ever encountered in any hotel. They were extremely professional and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. If you’re like me you judge a hotel by their water pressure and temperature and this shower did not disappoint. The beds were comfy and the room temperature was very comfortable. We enjoyed the restaurant very much and highly recommend the ceviche and lomo salteado. They had an amazing breakfast spread and the in room massages we booked were top tier. The property was just around the corner from the Plaza de Armas so all the festivities were close by. All in all, we have nothing bad to say and would 100% stay here again.

The best thing about the Wyndham Costa del Sol is its excellent location, just a couple of blocks from the Plaza de Armas, as well as having other shops and restaurants just outside the door. The hotel is well-staffed, and they were always happy to help with anything you need. The property is nice, especially the courtyard. The rooms are nice enough, I do think they can upgrade the bathroom which looks a bit dated and does not have the best hot/cold water control. Overall, a great property for the value.

Great location, close enough to the fun and action of Plaza de Armas, but far enough from all the noise. It’s a beautiful place. All the staff are so friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet is also delicious with lots of options. Will definitely stay here again if I come back to Cusco.

The hotel was beautiful and the staff was wonderful. We did an in room massage that was perfect. Our room, bedding and shower was great. We did stay in a room with a balcony that was on the main road, which is a bit loud. Location was excellent and easy to walk to anything you need.
