The room was too small for two people. There was only one roll of toilet paper, and it was already half used. No extra toilet paper was provided in the bathroom. The quilt was dirty in one of its edges. Housekeeping was disappointing. No one came to clean the room for two days, and we had to request it ourselves. The reception staff were decent but not proactive. The breakfast was okay. The best thing about this hotel is its location. It’s in downtown, within walking distance of most major attractions. If you prefer not to walk, an Uber ride to most attractions takes only about 7–10 minutes.

Arrived with children to find out that they were overbooked and had moved us to the next hotel, advertised as "2 rooms for the price of 1". Not helpful when traveling with children. Thankfully in this case, our 2 rooms were conjoined. I would have appreciated a heads up, and also am not willing to separate from my young children.

Right in the heart of old Quebec downtown.

The room was clean and pretty, but it was on the ground floor so we had to keep the curtains closed all the and night and it was very noisy.

The good stuff: - The desk staff when we arrived was lovely - It's in the Old Walls The bad stuff: - No phone number to be able to call with questions or concerns (number was out of service) - Two towels were dirty (hair, stain) - mould in the tub - ac unit droned loudly all night but was necessary to keep on - shower gel dispenser was empty - bathmat was damp and there was a facecloth hanging from the curtain rod - hotel halls needed care - lots of scrapes, paint flecks missing - the included breakfast was mediocre at best This was so bad I've cancelled my upcoming reservation

Excellent location. Great breakfast. Only thing is that there is no elevator, our room was on the fourth floor so it was a little inconvenient to go up and down those stairs.

Be aware that there is no elevator, steep stairs. Convenient location. Breakfast is served next door restaurant.

It’s in a good area if you want to explore old Quebec

Bien en général. Grande chambre, mais petite douche. Propre. Très bien situé. Frigo et fauteuil. Immeuble ancien avec son charme d'époque. Ce que j'ai trouvé dommage c'est que c'est le seul immeuble avec des boîtes à fleurs mortes (de l'an dernier), alors que ses voisins, le Sagami et l'hôtel Louisbourg ont les mêmes proprios... C'est pas accueillant.

Wonderful clean room! Only issue was the phone number provided didn't work. I called a few times from the road as I worried we'd be late for check-in, but it didn't work. Luckily a nice person was there to check us in. Beautiful room with very clean bathroom and coffee. We were on first floor beside front door of building, so light sleeper may struggle with the front door opening and closing quite a bit at night and in the morning. But luckily my son slept through it. The restaurant with breakfast looked really nice but very long wait so we ended up leaving to get breakfast elsewhere. I suggest going right when it opens for breakfast. Beautiful room and hotel, perfect location in Old Quebec!! Working phone number and perhaps a different floor (other than beside front building door) would have elevated it further (just because I had my son), but all in all a great location and very comfortable/clean room! Also black-out curtains were fantastic.

La réceptioniste, nous a donné la mauvaise chambre donc avec un bébé, un dame de 80 ans, ma fille avec un genou hadicapé, une poussette, deux valises et moi. Nous avons monté 2 étages pour en redecendre un.... juste un lit, je suis retourné à la réception, elle nous donne notre vrai chambre, refaire le tout à l'inverse pour monté un autre étage pour la nouvelle chambre. Sinon, le reste est bien.

Great location

Localisation magnifique à côté des Plaines d’Abraham, Château Frontenac à 5 minutes de marche. 2 excellents restaurants Italien le Parmesan et le Bello à quelques pas. Salle de spectacle Le Capitole à 10 minutes de marche. Chambre un peu viellot par contre. Très abordable !!!

Our room was small, but given the good price that I paid, that should have been expected. We really only slept there anyway, and it was located close to everyplace we wanted to be, so a good trade off. Parking is not available onsite, but we used the paid parking garage down the street, less than a two minute walk away. Safe and secure.

No room maintenance at all the whole stay. Received warning from them the day before stating that. Scary lobby & entrance way. Air conditioning, wifi & TV did not work whole trip. Breakfast in building next door (thank god). Worst ever expedia experience.

The “hotel “ doesn’t make much of an impression from the outside. The flowers in the window boxes are dead and the front door is beat up. As you enter the dark narrow hallway the unwelcoming receptionist sits behind a small desk and handed us our keys and breakfast tickets to the adjacent restaurant which was beautifully decorated and the breakfast was good and the coffee was endless. However, to get to our room we had to carry our suitcases up three semi-circular flights of Victorian era stairs(narrow on inside and wider on the outside.) The room was very crowded with the two beds which have sharp wood edges that clipped my ankle a couple times. The wi-fi and t.v. didn’t even work. Front desk said it was because the hotel had changed ownership. The excuse was not believable. On the positive side the place was clean, the bathroom looked like it had been updated and the water pressure and temperatures worked fine. However, the flickering lightbulb above the sink was bothersome. The beds were comfortable, but the pillows need replacing. So if you’re looking for a semi-rustic 1700s place to stay with un-glamorous amenities, but centrally located this place is fo you. As for me I wouldn’t go back.

The location is wonderful, staying right in the upper town makes it easier to visit the major landmarks. The room was cozy and warm. They helped us to get a ground-level room as my wife is pregnant and there is no elevator.
