When visiting the maya ruins in the area, we always stay here. Nice rooms, convenient, everything works well. Comfortable, reasonable, & a decent little restaurant right there. We stayed 3 nights this stay. 5-7 nights would be better to explore everything nearby.

Restaurant very good and clean, staff attentive, be aware that the area is relatively remote so the electricity and wifi are not always reliable, especially in the evening.

It is a nice hotel with easy parking.

The Chihuahua who roams the property is enough fun to want to return!

Perfect location for those who are interested in visiting Calakmul. The room was big, comfortable and clean. Small issues can occur, such as water or electricity shortages, but the staff was always kind and ready to help. Recommended!

It’s an isolated area near some amazing places, but I’m afraid that the train Maya is going to bring a lot of tourism and change the entire nature of the place, and that the local people will be the last to benefit from this. I think we got there just as the wave was starting to break.

A clean, quiet room for a very fair price. Helpful staff provided us with an excellent guide to the Calakmul ruins and the bat cave.

I wanted to like this hotel however, it lacks any creature comforts and is very poorly managed. The WiFi doesn't work, the restaurant food is inedible and the shower is best described as a dribble! If that wasn't bad enough, a neighbouring rooster routinely wakes everyone at 3.30am. If you value your sanity I strongly recommend booking alternative accommodation.

Nice hotel for the star level and price. Incredibly clean (immaculate) in rooms and around hotel, fluffy towels and great sheets. Bed a little hard but that’s Mexico. Great wifi. Hot water. Staff friendly. Neighborhood is a block back from Main Street so no street noise but some roosters and dogs (again normal for Mexico). Restaurant in hotel had lots of options and was good. We liked it and would stay again. Very safe area. A great base for Calakmul trip.

Nice, clean, and big rooms.

This basic hotel was very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful with some local things, though they didn't know much about visiting Calakmul. I suggest hiring a professional guide for that. Beds were clean and comfortable. There was actually real cable TV (via satellite) which was nice to entertain the kids after hours of walking through ruins in 100 degree weather. Also, the AC was adjustable and worked well. There is a restaurant that is very convenient and looked pretty clean. It was outdoors yet covered and quite nice. Food quality was passable in a pinch, but meat and chicken were tough. Breakfast eggs and fruit were okay. Overall, the hotel was a good value and one of the best hotels in Xjumpil.

Bed was a hard, safe place, good value

No water in the morning. Mattress was uncomfortable. Holes in towels. Very basic set up.

It was fine, blasted hot, pool was nice.

It was a good enough place to stay two nigts for the activities we did around the area.

The lady at front desk told me kitchen open at 5:30 am. But did not open til 7:00am. We had a tour book at 7:00am for Calacmul. No breakfest.....
