The pool was full of leaves, the bathroom had a lot of mold and very unkept, the shower head was also full of lime. The room had no coffee maker or a mini fridge. The pictures on the website are very deceiving. I would honestly not recommend this place to any of my friends/family.

The property show in the way to the ruins but is far from the road. The road is grave one and rain make sludge and unsafe. From desk is really friendly and nice.

This property is a great value. The pool is great. The location is great. We were there when it was very, very hot, so I can understand why the staff were a little disinterested in working. The rooms are really nice with the balcony. Unfortunately because the property is not as well cared for as it may have once been, there are several openings where the cockroaches sneak in. That was I’m only complaint.

The property is in urgent need of care and love, the staff doesn't seem to care at all, half the things are broken or do not work ...

Friendly and helpful reception, cute rooms with nice gardens. The pool needed improving though, like the addition of some sun bathing, deck chairs not just plastic garden chairs plus plants need abit more looking after in that area. As well as the pond topping up with some more water.

Es una excelente opción en costo beneficio, hay parte del mantenimiento de las habitaciones en las cuales se les debe poner atención para mejorar la experiencia.

Location: off the road to Palenque ruins. Car a must have, or taxi. Great pool, poll side restaurant and bar, property located in the middle of the jungle so humidity an issue to be expected. TV, AC, WC did not work but issues were solved reaaaally fast.

My husband & I stayed for 6 nights while visiting the ruins & all the INCREDIBLE waterfalls & we enjoyed the property very much! Check in was a delight! The young man was very sweet & chatted with us for some time. (I prepaid which made check in even easier) I recommend an upstairs room with a balcony & table with chairs. So nice to relax in the jungle setting after playing around all day. In addition, the king bed was sooooo comfortable & room service came everyday to make up the room. My only issue was the bathroom. It’s definitely in need of a remodel but the hot water was hot & the pressure great. I read the reviews about the staff. I’m on the fence about that issue. In the restaurant they definitely don’t jump up quickly or acknowledge you right away & sometimes I had to grab a menu myself, but hey, you’re in Mexico, nobody’s in a hurry & I like that! & the chilaquiles were delicious!! One more thing I’d like to mention. They are doing their part in reducing the use of plastic bottles! There is a pitcher in the room & they will fill it with water anytime. Bravo Axkan!!! We had a lovely time & really enjoyed the beautiful grounds & palapa style surroundings. Thank you!

Beautiful little hotel on the way to Palenque archaeological site. The bungalow was spacious, the shower was good (plenty of hot water and normal pressure in the shower). 50-60 pesos away from Palenque town if you want to dine there as restaurant of the hotel is a bit limited.

We had a room with a balcony viewing the treetops, which was great. There was air conditioning and a comfortable bed. The bathroom was showing significant wear but overall it was a nice room.

Lovely accommodation very close to the ruins. Well stocked bar and reasonably priced food. Great pool area. Well located off the main road and surrounded by places to eat.

Great hotel about 15 minutes from Palenque Archeological site. Front desk has a contract with a Mexican tour company and will set you up to go to any nearby destinations for a fairly cheap price. Water was warm, rooms and bathrooms were very clean. 10/10 would book again.

We loved our stay here. We slept in many different hotels all over the Yucatán and the bed was so comfy here. We could hear the howler monkeys and roosters in the morning. The hotel is off the main road but signs will easily lead you there where friendly staff is awaiting your arrival.

Drive through back roads to get here however a very nice spot. Private cabins very nice rooms with balcony looking over the amazing gardens and property. The staff is very welcoming and eager to help with anything. Restaurant was on site and had great food. The main city is about a 10-15 minute drive away.

The place was nice but the owners need to invest into their hotel. The quality of the supplies and the rooms are very poor.

A nice place to stay that's close to the ruins. Unfortunately WiFi doesn't reach the rooms so if you need to work, keep in touch, or research the next leg of your trip, you need to do that from the lobby/restaurant. Overall a nice place to stay.
