Room was located by a busy motorway, no way of knowing that before hand. Breakfast choice very poor for a vegetarian/vegan. Pool/Spa nice to have, location reasonably closeto the town centre

The reception area is really smart and well lit. Id asked if an early checkin was available however didnt get a response. We checked in at 3. The room was clean and a good size. I would say a little dated and the bathroom was very dated. The bedding was replaced as it had rips in. Breakfast staff were brilliant and very friendly on both days. The majority of the reception staff were polite however at check out the lady in recption spoke to my through her computer and didnt even look at me when she was talking.

The staff we encountered were all lovely. So pleasant and helpful. Room was clean and spacious. We had a bath with shower over, always plenty of hot water. Breakfast was good. The man from Liverpool was so cheerful and welcoming each morning, a great start to the day. Had food and drinks in the bar which we enjoyed. Would not hesitate to recommend the hotel.

The breakfast was as good as you can expect for a 3 star hotel. We had no complaints there. Did not use other facilities.

Great location and breakfast was great. Enjoyed a drink in the bar too. Had breakfast on the Sunday 19th and the staff member who greeted us to sit down was very cheerful, prompt, polite. Infact all staff on shift for breakfast were very professional. Great location for city Centre and Chester as a whole was great to explore.

Clean room, good cooked breakfast which was fine for us but if you wanted continental was not much choice. Nice bar, and swimming pool.

There is a large secure car park opposite the Hotel that cost £12 per night to use. Check in was easy. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was basic, spacious and clean with a very good shower within the bathtub. The bed was comfortable. Our room had a busy main road outside, but the traffic noise wasn't too bad. There was the usual kettle, tea, coffee, milk and sugar and an old TV. Breakfast was buffet style, which we liked, so you just choose what you wanted. You picked a time when you would like breakfast (in half hour sittings) as the hotel was very busy. The bar looked bright, but we didn't use as we used the very good bars around Chester! The hotel is built in two halves, with a covered connecting bridge over the canal, and at first it's a bit confusing as we used the lift from reception to level 2, then we walked over the bridge and used another lift to level 5, but we managed to find our way around eventually. The hotel is situated around the centre of Chester with easy walking to the main shops, pubs etc.

Good location close to local amenities. Parking opposite costs £12 for an overnight stay. Reception staff were friendly. The bedroom and bathroom were very dated and could do with renovating. Bedding was clean but was stained in several places. Pillows very flat and could do with replacing. Tea and coffee facilities with biscuits in the room which was a bonus. Acceptable for a 3 star hotel for a one night stay

We were on foot from the station so very convenient. We found all the staff to be extremely pleasant and helpful. The furnishings in our room excellent and lovely new carpets everywhere. Very supportive bed, immaculate bathroom and constant extremely hot water. Breakfast excellent with fresh looking and tasty items which we enjoyed at out table overlooking the canal. Couldn`t fault it!.

Does the job, close to bars shops station, room was small but clean, inside of my duvet was dirty, buffet brex was ok, nice view of canal, but timing it for the fresh stuff is an art, most of mine was dried out, fresh bread or a toaster would be handy, all the staff i dealt with were 10/10.

Hotel is well located for the city with a convenient car park. All the staff we came into contact with were lovely, polite and helpful. The room was clean as was the bathroom but everything is very dated. The bed was very uncomfortable. The shower head was held up with cable ties and an elastic band! There was an average choice at breakfast, all nicely cooked and hot.
